About us
Arenal Backpackers Resort is the 5-star property of Costa Rica. This beautiful hostel/resort has a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano, and is just a few minutes walk from the town centre and bus stop. The open setting of the property also makes it the perfect place for meeting fellow travelers.

Tents:
We have a brand new deluxe camping area! This area is covered and each tent has a double mattress, fan, lighting, power sockets and an outside locker room.
Private rooms:
-All private rooms have: Flat screen TV with cable, 1 or 2 Double Beds, A/C, Lockers, Towels, Private bathrooms with hot water, New thick mattresses, pillows and linen

From the central city to the hostel you can take just 10 minutes walk. Where you can find many shops, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, ATM etc.

(After 11:00 pm, the security guard will give you a room for your first night. In order for him to assign you a room you need to leave your passport or passports incase it is more than one person. For your safety he has a security box for them. Your passports will be returned the next day once your payment has been done.)

Terms and conditions
Cancellation and Reservation Changes Policy:
* Cancellations and reservation changes must be made by email only.
* Reservations can be cancelled up to 72 hours (3 days) prior to your arrival free of charge if you cancel 2 days before your arrival you will be charged for your 1st night only , after this period of time (48 hours ) you will be charged the total of the reservation same applies to “no shows “ thanks for your cooperation
* Reservation changes have to be done by email only, phone calls or messages at the front desk are not valid, and you need to bring the email with the acceptance of your changes in order to be validated,
* Non-Refundable : Your booking is non-refundable, if you choose to cancel or modify your booking, or in case of a no-show, you will still be charged the full cost of your booking.
* Last minute bookings: Reservations made only 3 days before your arrival date or within this period of time are non-refundable or accept any changes
- No underage kids and teens in the dorms.

-Parking area $10 per day
- All reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
-Front Desk opening hours from 7:00 am untill 10:00 pm.
Check in from 2 pm to 8 pm.
-Quiet hours after 11pm.
