Arriving by car:

Korenica and Plitvice lakes are on the national road D1. That is the main road that connects Zagreb with Zadar. From the adriatic cost from Dubrovnik ,Split or Zadar you can take off the highway A1(E71) at Gornja Ploca in direction of Udbina to reach D1 to Korenica. From direction from Zagreb the best way is to take highway to Karlovac and to take D1 to Korenica.

Arriving by bus:

Bus from Zagreb takes 2-3 houres to Plitvice an Korenica. From Zadar it takes 1-2 houres. The best practice is to check at the bus stations in the city where you are taking from to check out bus schedules and ticket prices. Frequency is usually 1 hour.
In Korenica there are 2 BUS station and you should use bus station in front of hotel Macola in city center. This one is only 150-200 from our accommodation and please get out from BUS on this station. Second bus station is in front of RESTAURANT MACOLA ( ca 800 m from our accommodation).
