The city centre hostel in Zagreb is in a good position. But there is no full time reception so if you arrive when they are not there you have to call them and wait till they come. Rooms are large and when staff are there they are helpful. The price is right for someone on a budget.

The location of the hostel is TOP, so if you need a center of the center location this is it. BUT it was a bit rip off, couse we made an online reservation in a dorm of 5 (beds), but when we got there, there were no such dorms in the hostel (or so we were told), and we had to sleep in a dorm of 8 beds. The price for the dorm of 5 was a bit higher than for the dorm of 8, so we paid more than we should. :(

I made a rezervation via internet for a duble bedroom with privat bathroom. Arrived there we were told that somebody else took that room !!! So why bother to rezerve there? Position in town is very good, but acces by car is difficoult.Frendly staff however. (they found another apartament for us in betwen)

Great staff, very helpful. Location is the best street in Zagreb. We didn't meet too many people because we stayed in a private room, but it was very clean and nice.
