Vedado Casa Cultural

My wife and I really enjoyed staying with Maria. What a fantastic experience. The house, room, and bathroom were very clean. AC works great. Her father-in-law, Jose, makes amazing breakfasts, and Maria is really helpful with connecting you with casas in other cities. 11/10 would recommend to everyone.

The €16 room has the worst mattress I've had and I backpack plenty. The lady was the first and worst contact I had with a Cuban... I asked about the center, she said everywhere is the center, you can find anything you want if you just walk. I was thirsty from my long trip, asked for a glass, I mentioned boiled water would be fine and she said no, you have to buy water, she was overall extremely rude, her dad however was really nice, but she's the one in charge. I would NOT recommend this to anybody visiting Habana, there are way better places for the price.

Very kind hosts, great, quiet location close to the sea. Clean house, the water temperature and pressure could be a little better in the shower.

Very nice owner who also organized an airport pick up for me. The room is quite small but was totally enough for me.

Big room with two beds, AC and own bathroom. Nice, quiet location in Vedado with really great staff and a wonderfully huge and tasty breakfast.

Stayed here for four nights, two in the beginning of our trip and two at the end - and we would definitely return again.

Jose and his dad made my stay in Cuba a perfect experience. They arranged a taxi (holding my name on a sign to pick me up the second I landed. Jose senior prepared perfect breakfast every day. Beds were comfortable, drivers to Hemingway's house arranged.every part of my stay was excellent. Price was excellent. Wonderful experience.

Good value if you're on a budget for the accommodation but the real BONUS of this place is the lovely host family!! They're very welcoming and helpful when it came to organising the rest of my trip around Cuba. Much needed and appreciated help as well as WIFI is VERY hard to come by in Cuba.

a lucky find: a most informative host, a good location in a central but non-touristic neighborhood with easy taxi access to La Habana

Location is good but in this price you can definitely find something much better around. If you don't have any time to plan and no place to go then good luck with this place. Otherwise not recommended.
