Don Carlos

The room was large and clean and the Casa comes with an amazing roofterrace which has been beautifully arranged by Carlos and his Family. Carlos really made our stay in Santiago worthwile by supporting activities, making awesome mojitos and generally being extremely friendly, he even surprised my girlfriend with a birthday cake!

If we ever go back to Santiago we will be sure to book with Carlos again

Location changed in the last moment. Room was occupied by another person. Bathroom was dirty, condones were left in the room. Was absolutely not what we had booked.

Lovely casa, fabulous roof terrace. Carlos and Isabel couldn't have been more helpful especially as we had to alter our arrangements to stay with them. An added bonus for non- Spanish speakers is their excellent English. Altogether I would thoroughly recommend them without hesitation.

It was a warm welcome and an even warmer stay. Breakfast was good en the room excellent. I have seen cleaner places, but the location and the people made me forget that. I recommend this place to everyone, such sweet and lovely people! I miss them already!

Very good location, just in the heart of the city, everything is at walking distance. The casa also has an extremly big roof terrace where you can sit and enjoy.

This casa is right in the centre of Santiago de Cuba which is great for exploring, though at the same time the centre of town can get a bit frenetic! We were here for a couple of days so for us it was perfect, and once you get inside it was like a refuge from the madness outside! Don Carlos was a lovely host and was interesting to talk to, and he came to pick us up from the airport in spite of an 11 hour delay to our flight, which was lovely

Don Carlos is an excellently run casa particular in a great location. Carlos speaks excellent English and helped us plan day trips out of Santiago de Cuba with a driver (who was also excellent) and a pick up from the bus station.

Carlo is a perfect host. His Casa is located in the center of Santiago, close to the main sights and streets. Going out is fun and Cuban people do not hesitate to offer a dance. I can very much recommend this place.

We stayed in the two houses next to Don Carlos and we really appreciated the welcoming people, the nice roof terrace and the very good food.
