We did not get to Casa Bernardo y Belkis, after booking and paying deposit & fee from Hostels Club and thinking we were sorted, a bit later a friend of the owner emailed to say no rooms, we have been bumped down the road to somewhere that looked not as quite as nice !! We said no thanks and can we have the deposit back - but that was the last we heard from him.
We did go later to Vinales and very much enjoyed our stay somewhere else.
Our deposit and fee we paid to Hostels Club is in someones pocket and we will never see it again, also we will never use Hostel Club again. Very sad it could have been good, but what can we do, the system did not work for us, our booking has no guarantee and we have no value. I have left all the values at 60% who would know what they should be?

We were staying at this very nice and clean casa in Nov 2016. Although situated at the outskirt of the village the casa is within walking distance to the main street of Vinales. We enjoyed very much the spectacular view from the terrace towards the valley. Bernardo gave us very good advice and even organized a nice horse riding trip with a cowboy from the neighborhood. You can get excellent breakfast and Dinner served on the terrace. Highly recommended!

Great service from Bernardo, clean rooms, we strongly recommend this casa. Good breakfast, served on the roof, with probably the best views of the mogotes.

This was the last place we stayed in Cuba, and was by far the best. The location is incredible and the food was amazing. Bernardo y Belkis were so friendly and helpful, always smiling. Having dinner on the roof as the sun sets and the fireflies come out is an absolute must We had a delightful time.

Nice people, location with mountainviews, breakfast on the rooftrerrace. Really nice owners Bernardo and his wife Belkis. Car can park on the grounds without parkingfee. We did a tour with son Rowen trough the Valley: beautiful and interesting. Oh, and we loved the guave marmelade at breakfast. And on the second day the little pancakes. Details, but nice details when you're on holiday.

Friendly people. Peaceful place. The room has it's own entrance. Excellent view on roof terrace. Delicious food (you should try the lobster prepared by Belkis). At the end of a dark street (at night). We recommend this place!

Wonderful location - very peaceful with a gorgeous roof terrace(although down an unlit road so take a torch at night). The owners don't really speak any English but were very welcoming and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

The independent accomodations have a great roof terrace with a beautiful, first-row view over the mogotes. Try out Belkis' excellent dinner with lobster or chicken and Bernardo's brilliant cocktails. Every meal is served on the roof terrace if you wish. We had a great time here in august 2015 and will defenitely come back!
