Emma Hostel

It was ok. Mainly for sleeping, a little bit dirty (but beds were clean). Kitchen was really dirty and lacking some useful tools (wooden spatulas etc) and the bathrooms were not the best. But people were nice and location was awesome

Awsum place to spend time in prague...Too clean and very good prime location. No bugs and Reception people was so good and responsive...

Good bathrooms and cleaning every days, Kitchen is too good and seating facility with sofas and two computer used with internet for personal usages...Free wifi as well and locker room also...

I would definatly go back there for one month next time when i m back to prague

Beds are not really comfortable but okay when you're drunk. Included a nice kitchen. Excellent value for money.

That was indeed a nice place to stay, staff was very cooperative.

very cheap hostel that is very well situated. In 15 Minutes walking distance you reach the heart of Prague's party centre, Dlouha street. The staff was very friendly and even helped us with finding the best hitch-hiking spot to Brno/Vienna. The facilities are not the cleanest, but still absolutetely acceptable. There are lockers for the valuable stuff in the dorms. The dorms are comfortable and the double rooms even very nice! Thanks! We enjoyed it!!

It was a pleasure to stay at Emma Hostel. The staff was really nice and helpful. Emma Hostel is located in the city centre, very close to the most important and interesting places in Prague. I highly recommend this hostel.

I have been here before. It is a very good place to stay in Prague, but we are in a hurry to check out in time.

It's a really nice place to stay and so closed to the city centre and other interesting places to visit. You have everything you need for an amazing price.

Good place and location. For that money I would definitely recomend this hostel. I can complain only about very thin walls, (the comfort of your sleep depands on your neighbours)

The bathroom and the kitchen were not clean. The price is low and the location is not far from the center.

I think they should give much attention to privacy of beds, like covering with curtains... well, I am bias with the Japanese hostels with same price. But I think they can do better than this.

The sheets were dirty, used, and when I lied down in the bed some cockroach appeared under the sheet and walking on the bed.

Also many other insects, I was bitten by a lot of them during the nights

Also people don't respect others food in the fridge and stole it! Although it's not the hostel's problem...

And private rooms are a second floor without elevator, but they don't say it!

Great location and really helpful staff but is pretty run down now. Worth staying if it's A short visit and you can get it for the right price

I stayed with my mother for 2 days in the hostel. The location was center to most of the sight seeing places. The rooms were clean. It would have been good if they had hand wash in the toilets.

From this hostel you can walk everywhere in prague, there is a little supermarket outside so you can buy your food and drinks. The stuff was so nice! The rooms are small, but to sleep in there it's enough. There are three showers for girls, I never had to wait because they were used. All in all, it was a great time at this hostel.

It was really pleasant time in hostel Emma in Prague. I recommend especially location of hostel which is great, you can go everywhere by foot. Rooms are quite good and if you prefer cook on your own there is a shared kitchen also. Prices affordable.

We were late checking out but the staff were okay about it and did not charge us extra. Great price, near the city centre. Would 100% recommend this place!

Great hostel, 10mins to Old Town Square. Nice staff, hot water, good facilities, felt safe. Would stay again.

The only problem with the hostel is the washroom, rest all was ok.

It was a really good choice :) The hostel is situated a very place in Prague. We could reach every wanted sight by public transportation or on foot very easily. The staff was very nice. The price was also very excellent :) I am very glad, that I've found that hostel :)

Nice and cheap hostel, definitly recommend it. You can walk to charles bridge in fiveteen minutes, right next to the hostel is the beautiful Moldau.

I went to this hostel for 4 nights.

The situation was OK, not really in the center (walk of 20 minutes to get to the principal place). The personal is nice except one of them who look very annoying when you dare ask a question to him.

The bed isn't good, especially the mattress who gave me a back hedge. The showers and toilet are clean like the rest of the hostel. The ambiance isn’t really sociable like it’s the case in other hostel.

I recommend this hostel only if you want to save some money.

The place where the hostel is located is great. It's the center but not crowded with tourists. Very cheap. The only flaw was a bad smell in the room.

Good hostel for the price, but the staff is not so nice!

place is close to the centre (15 min walking), very nice area around the hostel with pubs,stores,underground station.Staff nice and professional.Everyting was clean,kitchen was available.We were there in the winter,it was warm and there werent any problems with using toilets or shower.Ideal for short trips when you want see as much as you can and use hostel as a place to spend night there.

I don't have particulary complain with the hostel. we stayed for 7 night paying 40euro, a very cheap price! I think hostel was clean, maybe the kitchen not so much. I think I ll raccomand the hostel at friends of mine

Pros: nice room; decent kitchen; plenty of sinks, toilets and showers; bit of walk from the city centre.

Cons: paper-thin walls meant that we heard everyone moving around (especially our bad neighbours) and were often woken up even in a private bedroom; quite a dark atmosphere in the common area; staff seemed over-worked and we were left waiting in reception a long time.

For a bed for the night perfect,if you looking for comfort try another place, ema is value for money and was fine for our needs.

I was there out of season and stayed one night, so my impressions might not be quite objective. It's a nice place some 15 minutes walking distance from the center of the city. Minuses, in my opinion, are that the kitchen is in the basement, there is no smoking area and there is but one shower. And they do charge extra for the towel.

Tha main value of this place is its situation. As for value, it is needed to save 200 crowns as a deposit for keys, at night sometimes you are disturbed by light and noise,but more it depends on your neighbours. In general the atmosphere is quite friendly. I've visited numerous hostels in different countries and I'd never faced any serious problems, because much depends on your own character.

It was a bit overpriced for sure, as the rooms are not so cozy (nor warm) and one can feel the lack of wall sockets. The Wi-fi was ok for the first few days but as the hostel got more crowded and the number of users increased, we couldn't connect to the Internet.

The kitchen and bathroom were of good condition and provided an oven for cooking as well. The location is also superb with both metro and tram stations nearby and just a few blocks away from the city center.

The main downside was the group of noisy italians who kept on yelling (not just talking and singing, but also screaming and yelling) all night long. So a lot depends on your floor-mates.

Really enjoyed my stay it was clean friendly and all you need at such a good price will definitely go back!
