Pension City Center and L'Opera

There was no heat available and I was freezing!!

We spent a great time in Prauge, the Hostel City Center is realy close to all of the tourist atractions, and next to the best pub (my opinion). The room was tidy, and the staff realy was dear, and helpfull with us. We hope, to sleep there again in the future.

The shower was mildewed, the beds caused a lot of backpain and you could smell the overpainted mildew from the bathroom.

I can say only good things about the Hostel City Center! We spent a wonderful time in Prague as well as in Hostel. We stayed in private room with WC. Beds were very comfortable and the bedclothes were clean and fresh. The whole Stuff are very kind and helpful. During our stay there was a really nice guy. He answered to all our questions, and give us some valuable advices. In hostel you can use Wi-fi (good conection, and transfer speed) or stationary Pc's. You will also get a free city map and a lot of brochures with attractions in Praque. You will get your own key to room, to the front door of the hostel and to the gate so you can come back to your room at any time. In hostel you can also left your luggage for free, even after eviction! I'm sure that in the future I'll come back to this hostel!

Very minimalistic, lil bit ruined, hair in shower, good location near center, good shelter for one night

i have slept in de big room with the 12 beds! and the room is beautiful! very nice barok-room! one thing was that there weren't any lockers! and in the hostel you don't stay for making friends! but i slept wel for three nights!

Great place to stay, I highly recommend it.

The hotel is very central, clean and nice, except for the fact that they offered us breakfast when we arrived and the next morning the breakfast wasn't available because it was saturday.

Also the wifi wasn't available on the rooms.

Good location, the room was clean, we were in a twin room and for the price we paid it was good. in general a positive impression.

Beware of the room number 13. It is situated next to the reception. At nights you can hear loud talks and door bells.

The price of parking place is not included in the costs of the accomodation and is high.

we were welcomed by a very friendly host, our room was very clean, except the carpet... a little bit used! in a pretty and quiet area(new town). the tramway is just in front of the hostel! very simple.

reality i miss the kitchen and room was good with bath wc and tv but only national sendung but no wifi

the beds were old. near the center metro and tram, normally every places can go with fuß

Overall, it's very nice, affordable, comfortable, clean and very well located; but it lacks the spirit of a hostel. Therefore, it's a very good place to take a rest and easily walk around the city.

For that price it was really good. Nevertheless noone clean the bathroom, when I've been there - minus, however the location provides the plus.

We reserved a room for 2 days then it turned out we can only stay one day. I wrote to the Hostel and they answered that we have to pay both days, even if we only stay for one day. I didn't feel like going there after their reply...

Limited access to internet, otherwise clean, calm and 10 minutes walk to the center. No internet network at rooms and only 1 computer at the reception which was often broken.

The girl, who works in the reception is really bad.

I've stayed here numerous times, and highly recommend it for budget travelers. It has all the basics, nothing fancy, and as a result let's you save money to spend out in the city. a huge plus would be internet in rooms (is only in lobby). Location is close walking distance to action, but I find that a bit refreshing--prague can be too touristy so this feels a bit more "real."

This place has so few facilities that it is only worth going to for the location and the cheap prices (only available to online bookings, mind). The reception workers are mostly cordial, but not exceptionally genial.

comparing the price, this place is quite nice, get the free wifi, it is quite clean and well comunicated so, i do strongly recommend to take this hostel!!

your advert pictures of hostel where all false apart from the reception off the site i booked off. My room was not clean in fact it looked like a bomb had hit it. No mattress on the bed. Carpet dirty. only thing good the shower. i have stayed in 20 countries. That was the worst by far.

The staff was great, the facilities could be updated a bit, but the location made up for it! It was sooo close to everything, just hop on IP Pavlova metro stop, and you're good.

You might have to share a room with very noisy guests, but it's a nice place to stay.

It was fine for the money paid. The curtains, carpet and duvet look dirty, but the sheets and towels where clean.

Good place to rest, cheap, clean and great location. They need to encourage their silence politics even more.

There is limited parking space, try to get a better price than initially offered. Otherwise, there is a parking-garage, a few hunderd meters towards the river, for 500 CZ a day.

A cheap hostel with a good location, near to the city center. Only the beds were a little bit to hard.

When we go out with my friends we expect from a hotel/hostel only 4 beds and good place because we don't want to spend many time there just sleep. Thatswhy this hostel was perfect to us. It's really cheap, and we could reach everything in Prague in a short time. There is a supermarket in front of the hostel too, and the staff was OK too. 24h reception where you can leave your packages if you have to leave the room, but you'd like to take a walk somewhere before you leave the city.

Maybe a western-european traveller wants more but as I told it met with our criterias perfectly so if you have similar expectations from a hostel I can just suggest to you.

We would'nt visit it again! not even for all the pívo in prague...

Very good price for what you get. Short walk away from the city center and all points of interest. Good restaurant just accros the street.

This hostel is about 5 mins from Wencelas Sq. What it lacks in character is made up by location. Cheap, basic and reasonably clean. No safe dep box for valuables. Over priced breakfast at 150czk. Eat out. Excellent brewery/restaurant 4 doors away-cheap and good! Area appeared safe. Good for trams/metro to all locations.

It is clean and people is nice. The only thing I don't like were the sheets. They were very old.
