Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

Hotel CHRIS-TAL is located near to the centre of the village of Les Houches, opposite the Tourchet ski piste, and is hence an ideal spot for children, as all winter activities are possible here for children: beginner’s skiing, ice-skating and sledging.

The proximity of the hotel to the Avenue des Alpages allows you to get out and about easily, thanks to the local bus network. Our clients have free access to transport throughout the valley, thanks to the « Carte d’Hote ». In low-season, the bus passes every hour and, in high season, every half hour.

The hotel is located a mere 2 bus stops away from the Télépherique de Bellevue, and so you can head off on foot and leave your ski-hire equipment with the rental shop next to the ski lift.

If you are arriving by train, we advise you to get of at la Gare des Houches (Les Houches train station), only 500m away from our hotel. Les Houches train station is on the Vallée de Chamonix train line (Mont Blanc Express), and you can access it from the Gare de St Gervais-les-Bains-Le-Fayet (St Gervais-les-Bains-Le-Fayet train station). Our hotel is the closest hotel to the train station in Les Houches; and we even offer a pick-up service from the train station, if our transport vehicle is available (this should be arranged the day before arrival).

If you are arriving by aeroplane at Geneval International Airport, you can either access our hotel by taxi, by shared transport (mini-van transport) or by regional bus (Exit 3, in Arrivals). For more precise information, upon arrival, head to the « Visitor Centre » in the Arrivals Hall.
