A good hotel if u r just for a few days. The shared showers are really smelly, uncofortable. The staff tries their best to keep them clean and they are clean anyway, but there is no a window in them and so there is no fresh air comming in. Thats why i say they r smelly. The rooms are comfortable and the location is just great! Close to everything.

I'd like to comment that they didn't know anything about our resarvation when we arrived. They gave us a solution it's true but it's a mistake and at the end charge us 12 euros without sense, not respecting our percentage that we had paid in advanced.

DON'T GO HERE. THE FRONT DESK GAVE SOMEONE ELSE OUR KEY WHILE WE WERE GONE AND THEY STOLE EVERYTHING IN OUR ROOM. NOW THE HOTEL IS SAYING THAT THEY WON'T COVER THE CHARGES. WORKING WITH PARISIAN POLICE AT THE MOMENT BUT VERY DIFFICULT ONCE YOU'VE LEFT THE COUNTRY.

It's Ok. Good location with respect to the subways and Gare du Nord station. However, it is not in the nicest neighborhood in Paris.

Very basic, very close to the train station, nice service last renovated in the times of french revolution. Clean. Approprieate for a very short stay. The capes on the bed beg for changing.

Very small rooms and noisy outside. It was a dubbelbed be paid for but it was really small (1 1/2). The room was clean but the bathroom was a bit scary and the bathroom door didn't close, it was broken. Reception personal was nice. Really scary and old elevator. Close to Gard du Nord station were you have the RER and Metro. A bit scary there in the night, weird people and homeless outside the hotel sleeping. Can recommend it if you want a clean room to spend the night on for a good price. If you don't mind the noise outside it's a ok place.

small hotel, very small room! The bed is good though and its clean. You pay 3 euros each time you use the shower. Good location right around the corner of Gare du Nord and very friendly staff.

I stayed inthis hotel as part of a secondary school group. The rooms were basic but clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and in very good working order. The location was excellent, just a couple of minutes from Gare du Nord. The reception staff werent the friendliest but werent rude either. Most of all, I felt that my pupils and I were safe.

Nice cheap hostel located 5 min. from one of the biggest Paris communication centers (Gare du Nord). Equipment is basic, but 100% sufficient if you do not want to stay in bed 24h ;-) French is not needed if you know English ;-)

Be aware that it is not mentioned a tax per person in the price (5 euros per person per day) and A 3 EUROS FEE FOR EVERY TIME YOU HAVE A SHOWER!

SHOWERS ONLY ON THE 3RD FLOOR (of a 6 floors building) and the total space of the shower room is less than 1 square meter (a vertical coffin!).

Very poor quality and place not clean (nasty smell in the rooms and in the toilet as if not properly clean...).

Elevator works ONLY from the first floor.

Internet 2 euros for 10 minutes!

Receptionist poor customer service (told us we had to answer quickly as he was taking to his mum on the phone!).

They try to cheat on the prices of taxis (as they offer to call you one), so do not pay more than 40 euros to airport CDG.

With addition of taxes per day and showers, I advise to take another one.

This hotel is fairly good in terms of it's position, and it's one of the cheapest you'll find in Paris be assured ! However, the staff's lack of enthusiasm, knowledge of how to get to things, and actual explanation of things like the fact that there is only one shower which you have to pay for in the entire hotel etc... make me think I won't be staying there again !

It is a very well situated hostel, if you need mobility, since is is near Gare du Nord. It is also easy to get to the main points of the city. The staff is helpful. However, the cleanliness is clearly the weak point of this hostel. The common shower was very dirty and the pillows were also dirty. Be aware that the Visa wasn't working and we had to pay in cash. In conclusion, it a hostel to go if you need mobility, since it has an excelent price for its location, but be prepared for a poor cleanliness of the room. Cheers

The hotel has good position, but in the room do not expect anything luxurious. I was accomodate in a room with shared WC and shower (even we booked an ensuite room), the wc was clean, but the shower smelled, and after 1-2 usage it was dirty as well. And for 7 rooms they have only 1 shower. The bed in the room is very OK, the staff english skill is not efficient. The roomkey should be left at the reception, and they gave it us without identification, so I was afraid about rob. Otherwise it wasn't a bad place for 39€ (per two persons).

don't go there! it's absolutely worst as i ever seen. staff cannot give any info about the travel. the room's not good atmosphere; only the location is good, convenient and located in the city centre. the worst thing for me is I have to pay for the shower in the bad smell bathroom without inform in the website.

Very strange that there's only 1 shower in the whole building and that you have to pay €3,- in addition to use it.

It is a very bad experience for me to stay at there. Please don't choose this hostel. I booked the double room with W.C. for 54 Euro. However, I got the room with shower room but without toliet inside. The manager said we paid 48.5 Euro for them only because 10% is for onling company. Therefore, we could get the shower room only. The room with shower room + toilet was 55 Euro. However, the online system showed the room with or without W.C only but not what they said. And, the shower room was small and dirty. I cannot turn my body inside.

This hotel was very close to Gare du Nord, which make it very accesible to every place in Paris, it was not close to all the monuments, but you could take metro to anywhere. It was comfortable and nice. I liked it.

The location is central and the staff was nice but the room was sort of an adventure. The bed and its matress were not comfortable at all. At first glance the bathroom was clean but in the shower were some badly moulded areas that could have be cleaned more carefully.

We stayed in a 5 bed room beginning of Sept 2007.

+ Room split into two parts (1 double & 1 double + single).

+ Staff friendly and accomodating.

+ Relatively clean.

- Traffic noise at times and we were woken in the morning regarding a possible leak.

Ok, first for the price I have to tell you that it is really good for Paris! There are only double beds rooms for 40-45 euro! It is really really cheap!

Also the position is very good (near Gare du nord), but about cleanliness I have to tell you that it's really painfull! They have a little bathroom for each floor that thay clean just at 8 AM in the morning! at 11 it's already dirty and of course there isn't anymore hygienic paper! If you want to have a shower first you have to pay 3 euro and then the staff will give you the key for the ONLY shower room in the whole hostel that is very very very very small and very very very very very dirty! The hostel closes also at 3 AM, so in the end I think that if you don't have enough money this hostel is very good but if you can choose another thing look for something else!

It's a nice place to stay, because is just a 1 minute from Gare du Nord (North Station) and it is not necessary walk over Paris with your bags, also you have un Gare du Nord most of the Underground lines, and is very easy to use it.

As hotel, is very comfortable to sleep, just for that.

This is very small, but nice hotel. For the money you pay is ok. I had a lot of joy in it, although it was not a very big and expensive. It has a nice view to the city, and it is very near to the centre of the city. If you are in Paris just for one weekend, it is the right place to go. I am very pleased. I was there in May 2007. The staff is nice, if you are nice to them.

The hotel has a climate, there are only 3-4 rooms on each floor, there is a lift - I found it pretty clean (the walls,bed-sheets and carpet didn't have any stains, the room was cleaned every day, although the bathroom is small and quite filthy) and safe. It is located very close to Gare du nord, where with 2 metro lines and two RERs you are not far away from all major tourist attractions. It's important that you exit the station at Rue de Dunquerke, the entrance at Bvd.de la Chapelle already leads to a dangerous district. One of the receptionists in the hotel is nice, the other isn't,but they both speak English. There is a supermarket and bakery nearby.

IS a good place to stay but...only, and I underline this, TO SLEEP. Be careful about the staff. If, to save money, you chose a double room having only a bad four a couple, they will show you the worse they have to permit you to change it paying extra. No Breakfast included.

The hotel is very near to Gare du Nord station which is quite convenient to take the Metro and Eurostar. For a night or two, the hotel room is reasonable acceptable. Some of their staff are not friendly. Well, what do you expect from a cheap hotel.
