The position is excellent and the staff are very friendly. If you are looking for something simple Hotel Bervic is good value for money.

stay away from this hotel. worst hotel ever stayed!!!!!

Hotel,staff and cleanliness is good.Problem is to get onto 4th floor by stairs in a round circle manner no lift as such.Position of hotel is near to metro Barbes Rochechouarte which is advantage and also near to Church Bastille walkable.Near to Metro atmosphere is not good so many people standing outside which makes you uncomfortable.

hotel was okey.we were in the first floor and wireless was perfect. but neighbourhood a little bit scary.

Wasn't the cleanest and it was a long way to carry our suitcases up to out 6th floor room. The only showers were located on the third floor and absolutely no hot water. The location was brilliant though, really close to the station, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Nice cheap hotel in an ok neighbourhood. Not the best but next to sacre coeur and NOBODY shouted at us or insultet us, just the tipical guys selling cigarettes and drugs...it's really close to the next metro, just across the street, would stay there again.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. It was dirty and the staff were unhelpful. My room was a little bit like a toilet. Speaking of which, the toilet and shower facilities were terrible- the toilets had clearly not been disinfected for several decades and the showers had poor water pressure and one of them was stone cold. The photos on hostelsclub.com are overly flattering. Do not stay here.

Really great location. We walked al the way through the centre of Paris from here.

Not a bad place for a short stay

Hotel stuffs talk/behave nicely..helpful..situated at a very well connected place..very near to metro exit...left our baggage on second day without any payment and collected at night...stuffs are available all night...speak good english...toilet is small....room is a bit stuffy but windows can be opened to get fresh air...

we liked the position of the hotel, the staff was ok. only the intenet access was always to be required. thank you for the nice christmas time

Good Hotel, enough four what you pay for... Really close from the Metro station...Careful with reservation fees

In the most crowded place in Montamarte, quite noisy during the night (windows seem to be wide open but they're not) but very comfortable beds and nice atmosphere with very nice English speaking staff. Very good for this price.

Hotel is realy nice, staff is friendly. Everything is ok, just outside the hotel is not very good area.

Good position in Paris, but bad neighborhod. Clean, but no elevator.

The hostel does not have a kitchen just a small room with a broken microwave and a sink, no facilities to cook. The owner was very unfriendly and the wifi only worked sometimes and only in the main lobby area. The hotel was not clean and not well maintained, I will not be staying in the hostel again.

Its better to pay 20€ more and go to a good hotel than staying in Bervic Montmartre!

don´t stay anywhere next to Gare du Nord train Station lots of immigrants asking you for money and trying to steel you anything

HORRIBLE Y SUPEEEER PELIGROSO

No elevator, I was on the sixth floor and the bathroom was in the third.

They have a Kitchen.

Very close to the metro and train station, easy access from airport.

Rooms small but clean, renovated recently. Neighbourhood doesn't look friendly and safe, especially at night- a lot of imigrants. I would not recommend it for ladies travelling alone.

Overall, very friendly staff- let us keep our bags in a locked room after check out. No curfew and a cleaner everyday. Had towels, soap, shampoo and tv in room - however was very basic. Luckily we were given a room with a shower - otherwise shared, oh and lots of stairs to climb!

People mentioned area being dodgey - nothing bad happened to us, we were safe, but there was quite a few people lurking about selling cigarettes on the main road. Also close to a metro stop and eurostar

The hotel is in good condition you get what you pay for it is close to the main train station and the price is good... Perfect option for if you want to save some money

Staff very nice. Breakfast ok. Location is the weak point: very close to the Metro, what is ok, but the quartier at night was a bit disturbing.

The hostel is very clean and actually quite good for the price we paid. Location is very near the Metro (train) and just within the Montmarte District. Only that, the place is in the center near the train station, so it is quite busy and noisy (traffic noise in the evening). Not also a very safe environment with many suspicious looking guys loitered on the streets. just be alittle careful everytime you wpass the street. But so far they are quite harmless. But generally, it is more than your money's worth and I would stay there again next time Im in Paris! To access wi-fi internet, you need to go down to the lounge area.

The hotel was really nice. Stuff was great!!! They helped me a lot. It was not useful that we couldn't use the Internet in our room, but in the lobby. Anyways, overall the hotel was great.

It was really nice that the hotel was 100 m from a metro station, It's not close to most of the paris tourist sites but it's pretty near to Montmartre. They need to fix many things (like the WC's door in the 6th floor), also the area around the hotel looks a little dangereus, the staff is nice. They let you use a microwave (but you can't cook) and a commen area with free wifi.

Great cheap hotel in prime location by metro, gare du nord and view from Sacre Coeur! staff very friendly, let us use kitchen any time. Dont bother with their brekie for 5euro, buy your own from local supermarket. Comfy bed. downfall=had to walk up 6 flights with bags, down 3 for shower. Definately do FREE city tour by Sandemann.

Some staffs very good but some are quite impolite, the room and bathroom are very small, there are many non-local in this district and felt not safe when we went nearby. It was quite harsh for us to take our package to room because we lived in 5/F. It was great to have internet connection, but only in the breakfast room in G/F. The location is good, near Gare de Nord. I would say it is acceptable to stay here with this price.

The Hotel itself was acceptable. Don't expect too much, but for 1 star hotel everything was quite o'k: the room was cleaned every day, we had a room in the yard, so it was very quiet, we could sleep weel. Staff is quite friendly and is able to communicate in english. The only thing we didn't like is the common story with the citytax, which is "not included" into the website's reservation price. Good choice for the price we've paid (48 Euro - Double)

The hotel was small but nice, and what is most important,easy to find (the metro station is very close). The position is good, all sites are easily accessible, even by foot. The room I stayed in was simple, but clean and quite spacy. Although I had no negative experiences, the quarter seemed a little bit precarious. I enjoyed my stay there.
