Impressed. Good joint. Good price.

un hotel de principios de siglo, el edificio tiene onda clasica, no tenia ascensor y las habitaciones eran un poco pequeñas, el baño estaba bien, pero se encuentra un poco alejado del centro. cuando llegamos no tenian habitacion asi que nos mandaron a la vuelta a un hotel que esta 10 veces mejor. al dia siguiente tuvimos que volver y nos queriamos matar, me prestaron un adaptador de electricidad de 3 a 2 patitas que me olvide de devolver y ellos de pedirmelo cuando me retiraba por ende me lo pusieron en la tarjeta, 15 euros, un afano a mano armada y muy deshonesto.

The Hotel is in a convenient location, close to the subway, with cheerful and helpful personnel. It provides all the basic necessities if you are looking for a place to stay overnight with a limited budget. Howere, some of the property needs renovation (but it might only be the room where we stayed).

I made a big mistake. Booked for 2 nights, arrived morning and was told that we can check in at 3pm., waited until then,was told that the room was in not good condition. was transfered to an indian operated hotel near by where 30% cheaper than booked.No lift, was assigned a room on the 5th floor. Stay away from Darcet hotel,your well earned holidays will be spoiled

CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL!

We booked a private room with WC/shower for 3 nights and never even got to sleep at the hotel.. the 1 night they sent us to the nearby Hotel Savoy which is the WORST hotel with disgusting moldmoisture broken rotten cigarette rooms. This ruined our first day completely. Without even knowing where we'd spend the other 2 nights we managed to fall asleep anyw.

The 2 remaining nights we were sent to Hotel Moncey were we finally got a nice room like we wanted. If we'd know all this we'd just stay at Moncey from the start. Darcet's staff is rude with a lot of bad excuses and if they now are renovating their rooms DONT OVERBOOK PEOPLE just to send them away?!

We rent a private room for 2 days. Like everyone else in europe, the 1 night they send us to the hotel savai, this hotel just ruined our day. It is old, dirty, all break, just horrible. The 2 night we could go to darcet hotel, and it was ok, clean just fine (TV and heardry). The location worked for us, it is close to moulin rouge, and 15 or 20 bocks away from the arc.

Bad/rude service from the manager. No heat in the room. Mould on the bathroom ceiling.

We had to change the room after the first night, but both rooms were clean and ok for this kind of hotel.

First I had to sleep in a another hotel, and only the third day they gave me the room I booked, with surrounding rooms being rebuilt and full of rubbish, with electric cabels hanging from the cealing. Breakfest was phoney cofee and phoney orange juice.Good thing is wireless internet.Overall, it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't what I booked and payed either. More professionalism and smaller prices would be in order.

Rather nice hotel, up to me the location is very good, the room also is ok. The only thing is that it wasn't actually very warm, as we were staying in the winter time, so it wasn't very comfortable.

5 mins walking distance to Moulin Rouge. 2 mins walking to metro, 1 min to supermarket, 1 min to various restaurants and staff. Clean place, but breakfast is a little weak. The guy at the reception knows English, but does not know much about Paris I guess, however seemed to answer every question, uncorrect, so dont rely on his info. In total, good price/performance ratio.

I stayed here in a twin room with my mother during january and had a great experience. The staff were really helpful, and even gave us extra pillows and hot water when requested. Although a bit rough around the edges, the hotel is really clean. If you have a low budget but still want most of the mod cons of a hotel then this is the place for you!

The hotel was in good locality. For this price very good accomodations. The staf was very friendly. The Hotel Darcet was very very good.

We had a terrible experience. We`ve booked Hotel Darcet, but they sent us to Hotel de Paris. Besides, our triple room had only 2 beds and 1 mattress on the floor. Also, we had to pay 18 EUR for the breakfast that was included in our fare.They didn`t care about their customers` satisfaction. We don`t recommend that hotel at all.

Nice area! Just a few steps away from the metrostation, the Sacre Coeur and The Moulin Rouge. The room and bath were clean, every day new towels. Breakfast was OK.

Advantages include a good location, affordable prices and delicious breakfasts. The hostel is old and needs renovation, the rooms are a little stale, but it had this old French atmosphere and are kept clean. Generally, the pros outweigh cons so, I liked the hostel and if I ever got to Paris again, then i'd choose this hostel.

Exellent Hotel (for these kind of prices!). Try to get room number 8, you will have a little terras for yourself! Me and my girlfriend had a really good time.

Clean room, nice staff who spoke very good english. Location was super, just around the corner from the Moulin Rouge. No entertainment on the hotel. Over all it was a very nice hotel, quit and in a calm area. I would go there again...and paris was wonderful!

a nice and clean hostel, about 20 minutes walk from the Champs Elysees, with on the fifth floor rooms with terraces!

Wonderful hotel, good location (few steps from metro), excellent cleaning and treatment of clients. Good prices and breakfast included. I recomended.

When i booked the room it was not clear to me if "Room + WC" also includes shower but it did and on top of that breakfast was included. The Room also had a TV (free). Alltogether i was really surprised about everything. The people were very friendly, open and positively normal. The location is great. There is fantastic bars and restaurants around the corner, the area towards montmatre is beautiful and Metro is close by. The Room was to the back which made it extremly quiet so that it was possible to sleep with windows opened the whole night. Lamps, doorknobs etc were a bit shabby but everything felt very comfortable and cozy. The bath had a little black between the tiles and some had a crack but besides this everything was still clean. There was even a hairdryer in the bathroom plus we got new towels every day. I felt very comfortable and relaxed and the Hotel definitely contributed to the positive overall experience of our time in Paris. I recommend.

The staff was great and helped us with whatever we needed and had some great suggestions and ideas in both English and French. The breakfast was very nice. The location was a bit in the red light district, but close to some fun clubs and pubs which were well in walking distance and a good place to go out after the metros close at 1:30am.

I didnt like it to much, when I arrive almost at 3 oclock pm, they told me that the room wasnt ready and I ask why, and the dude in the reception told me come and he points at the elevator and told me "we have problems with the elevator, so the lady that cleans couldn't clean quick". That the worst excuse I ever hear. they charge you for the internet 15 min=1 euro. You have to leave the key at the recepcion when you are out and when you came back theres the other shift and you only ask for the key and that's it, they dont ask for your name anything, so anyone can ask for any room key.

everything was very good at the hotel. The only problem was that the first night we had to sleep in another place (harrible) because they check in someone else. this thing happend to all the guests!!! the food was great!

Nice accomodation in Paris within a neighbourhood with all the parisian flair at a reasonable price. Will recommend it!

This is typical france hotel with "petit déjeuner".

we are not exacting customers, everything was ok, but we were really surprised at the beginning. althought we had a reservation, hotel was full (they told us about problem with water) and we had to sleep first night in another hotel - terrible one. I have read some reviews and there is often "problem with water"...

Clean beds, hot shower! Right next to a Metro Station... Rooms could use a new coat of paint but staff was so so helpful! They will hold you bags before and after checkout for free, free wifi, and breakfast is breads, teas, coffees, etc...

This hotel rocks

Breakfast filled the hole with a crossont and a roll each a cup of tea hot chocolate or coffee and a glass of orange juce.. Position is wonderfully it's just near moulan rouge and you sorta walk behind it up and around a few side streets and you end up the top of this hill with Paris at your feet the most wonderfully veiw in the world we were up thier right on sunset it was amazing.

Unlike what we had heard, the hotel was lovely and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our stay was very pleasant, and we'd love to stay at Darcet again.

I love this Hotel! The staff was really nice: helpful and english-spoken. Rooms are typical french - cosy, little, with bath or wash, big comfortable beds. Yummy brekfasts. Very clean, room service every day.

what a nice hotel! the staff was kind and friendly. The rooms was clean and well decorated with good toilet facilities. the breakfast at the hotel was small but good in pleasant surroundings. Indeed a place I can recommend. Made our trip to Paris GREAT
