Stayed in a triple room it was small and mattress was lumpy but had our own bathroom, staff was friendly and helpful would stay again 1 minute from Metro take the number 5 from Gard du Nord 50 euro for cab.

I was supposed to stay in Mary´s Hotel for 5 nights, but an incident happened at the first day, so I prefered to leave to another hotel. I spent the day out and when I came back, my room had been opened, my luggage broken and most of my valuable stuff stolen: my money, my jewelry, Ipod, cell phone and clothes. The camera of the hotel was broken so we could not find out who stole everything. Besides, the recepcionist, which is VERY RUDE, said he could not be responsible for our things!!!!! NEVER STAY AT MARY´S HOTEL! IT´S NOT REALIABLE AT ALL!!!!!! ATTENTION PLEASE!

The rooms are a bit claustrophobic. The maid cleans them everyday, but some things (bed covers, curtains) have not been washed for ages. The metro station is very close and there are brasseries around, so the location is very nice.

Great location but thats about it. The staff didn't speak english. Not helpful at all on city sights and the like. My bed sheets and pillows were filthy dirty upon arrival. Would not reccommend.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms were so small that you could not put your bags anywhere, bathroom was tiny you had to open the door to wipe yourself after having a shwr and the noise was horrendous. Did not sleep a wink. We booked the hotel for 3 nights and had to leave after 2. We could not get out of there quick enough.

I had booked a quadriple room in June 2009 for my family consisting of my wife and 2 kids ages 15yrs and 7 years. On arriving we were told that there was a mistake and we could not be accomodated in a quadriple room but in two separate rooms. We were shown 2 rooms, one on the attic (6th flr) and the other on the third floor which was most inconvenient. But having reached Paris late evening we had no choice but to accept. to pacify us, we were told that breakfast would be free for us which inany case was nothing very great.There rooms were very small. The bathroom of one of the rooms had a door that would not close, there was no place to hand clothes or towels. The shower would not work properly. The room too did not have a closet, shelf or even pegs to put out clothes. From the day we checked in, the lights in one of the room was not functioning it was not rectified till we left. But the hote; was well located. lots of reasonable priced eateries just around also a laundromat down the road. Oberkampf metro station was not even 50 mtrs from the hotel which was extremely convenient. Ideal for small budget tourists and students.

I thought Mary's Hotel was excellent value for money. The rooms were comfortable and clean, staff very helpful and patient. The location was perfect for our school group, in a quiet street, right next to Oberkampf metro and relatively close to the Marais, Beaubourg and Ile de la Cite.

Mary's is very convenient for a tourist, close to the Metro and a short travelling distance to the "sites". What you see on the website, is what the hotel is like. No nasty surprises.

My experience with Mary's hotel was quite pleasant. The staff was simply outstanding! Very helpful and fluent in English. They were very kind in helping us. My only issues were that the rooms were a little small and there was a lot of street noise in our room. Location was good since they were close to the Oberkampf Metro station and there were many good places to eat within walking distance. Overall for a place to stay in Paris that is a good value, I would recommend Marys!!

The rooms are small, but the staff were very friendly. They let us leave our luggage after we should have checked out, so we were free to enjoy our last day in Paris. Thumbs up.

The room smelled funny and the tv only had 5 channels. The beds did not have proper pillows and also had two different mattresses on the bed. The bed was very uncomfortable. The front desk receptionist was super nice and friendly.

I've just arrived from there and I want to send greetings to the staff. It is only 2 * but is the best i ever seen:
- very clean: the room is cleaned every day, new toillette paper, new towels, new drink cups, and the bed's are in the right position.
- very hot: we had to sleep with the windows open in the night;))..better then to be cold:)
- very very good position: 10 m till the metro station. this was really great.
- i wasn't there for fun..i was there to visit and to see as most as i can in few days...so...i can't say too much about having fun. near the place it is a restaurant open all night, and some markets/restaurants/others...opened just in the day.
If i will have the occasion, for sure i will come there again.

This is an excellent hotel strategically located in the heart of Paris. The staff are nice, friendly, patient and always smiling. We were a 38-person group and none of us can say anything negative about the hotel. We will certainly stay there again.

Very satysfing for the price. Hotel was cheap and close to the metro (50m). Staff was very helpful and spoke good english so we didn't have any communication problems. We are surely coming back if we'll be visiting Paris in the future.

Positive: Perfect position close to the city center and subway station, free internet in room with wifi if you have your own computer, helpful people.
Negative: Too expensive for the quality, not very clean, very very old duvet, very very uncofortable beds, very small rooms and sometimes no hot water.

It's located right next to the Metro station. If you don't speak French, check in early in the day because the guy that works the front desk at night only speaks French. Nice place to stay for the price. Bathrooms are very small though.

As students we needed somewhere cheap but decent. This was perfect for what we needed as it is right next to the metro. Clean towels and sheets and nice ensuite. Perfect for us.

Very nice Hotel, very close to the Metro and to an area of bars and restaurants. The rooms are quite noisy, but after walking all day long in Paris it's not exactly a problem. The staff are nice also and the I would that the problem is that the service does not include the breakfast, but the rest is fine.

It was really great place to stay in Paris, all of the most famous places was in touch, because of the metro station named Oberkampf, which was 20 metres from entrance of the hotel. Staff was really helpful and very kind. I love this place, It´s everything you need, if you wanna stay in Paris for a short time... great value of services and price... :) bon voyage :)

We were 3 girls and we were excitted by the faboulous staff,they were really helpfull they booked taaxi for us, they fixed the price, they were really polite,the room was really warm clean and tidy,and quiet. the price was wonderful,and it was just beside the metro and even when we were exhausted from the sightseeing we knew that we wouldn t walk further for the hotel...i would undoubtely suggest it ...it was crowded and we met people fron other countries,

It was a good place for a few days. The staff was ready to help and nice. The bathroom was a little to small for my taste and around the toilet it was a smell of urine. The position is very good too one minutes far from metro/buses and the area is safe.

This is a cute cheap hotel to stay at in Paris if you are just traveling for a couple of days. It's a two star hotel, so don't expect anything fancy. However, it's better than staying in a hostel, just for the simple fact that it's a hotel, so you have your own bathroom, etc. The staff was very kind and friendly. The location was cute and in a nice area. The internet wasn't working, which was kind of inconvenient but there's an internet cafe not far from the hotel. Definately recommended if you're on a low budget and just want a decent place to sleep.

The metro it´s very close to the hotel, that was great. Breakfast it´s not included, and it is 5 euros and not good or enough. The room was clean, but the blankets were very dirty. The room was small for three people, but since is Paris, is ok.
Staff was kind. Internet is very expensive, 1 euro 15 min. Lift is not so good.

staffs are helpful. The great thing in the hotel is it has lift.
Room size is small; hard to connect to internet network. At the end we had to pay to the hotel for using their computer.

The hotel is situated in a very good location, just in front of the Metro stop. It's very basic. The beds were reasonably clean, but the bathroom kept leaking so the floor was constantly wet! The staff didn't speak much English, but all in all the hotel was okay, and was good value for the low price.

My friend & I stayed in a 2 bed room here. The room was quite small, but was clean & had its own bathroom. The location was great! It's right off of the Oberkampf train station steps and in a non-touristy area. We enjoyed the nearby cafes and bars. The hotel closed before we got in 1 night, but the staff is there to let you in when the bldg. is locked. I would definitely stay here again when in Paris!

I would stay there again. Several metro and bus stations are nearby and also a lot of cafes and grocery stores are around the corner. Staff was extremly friendly. The room itself was small (no airconditioning) but clean. I guess you can't expect much more for 50€ in Paris.

Staff very friendly and helpful, situation near Metro very helpful. We stayed as family of 4 in room with 4 beds, on whole clean and good value for money. Shower hand nozzle lacks attachment to frame, so awkward showering! But otherwise satisfied and would use again.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed and brilliant for the price. Don't expect 5*, but to be honest it was in a good location, not too noisy but easily accessible to most places.
Staff were good (the ones that spoke English). I would definitely consider using this Hotel again.

Great location as metro station is facing the hotel. 5mn away from Rue Oberkampf. Walking distance to reach Le Marais / historic center. Rooms are small but confy enough if you just need a bed.
