House L. A. - City Hostel Füssen

Very good.

The room is clean. We stayed in a bedroom with 8 beds and there is a water tap and sink inside our room which is very convenience.

Staff should be nice and more helpfull. Should play attention to clients not telephone. Service mind is important for tourisum bussiness.

I really enjoyed the tour package.

But there was no hot water for shower on that day.

We enjoyed are stay. Staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Good location and decent price,friendly staff

Pros: easy free parking, decent WiFi, close to groceries and downtown, friendly staff, clean/quiet rooms

Cons: shower clogged, no cooking amenities/utensils, kitchen not open to guests not paying for breakfast, security is lacking (front door open 24/7 plus most guests leave dorm rooms unlocked)

We were very impressed and it was very comfortable.

There are only a few showers and the dorm at the top floor is a bit narrow. Nevertheless the hostel is quite nice and value.

I recommend to choose the cheap, but rich breakfast.

My reservation was lost. The guy in charge tried to charge me the same price for a 10 bed room (adding in an extra cot) as for the 6 bed room that I had booked. He was very unpleasant and unwilling when I asked for a discount.

We had a pleasant stay in Hostel Fussen, place is very clean. The place would be perfect if there are appliances that allows people to heat up their food.

I had a great time at the hostel! Everything was just great. I have no complaints, it was cheap, perfectly located, and felt very homelike. I am definitely coming back to Füssen in the future and will use this place again.

Great place. Alaina was very nice and helpful at check-in. I liked that the location was just outside of the main part of town, not too tourist, but a 7 minute walk to the train station and bus stop. The best (and the worst part) of this room was that my east facing window had a perfect view of neuschwanstein castle! Which is great if you want to get up early (and get to the castle early to get your same day ticket.)

This is an excellent small hostel in a great location in Füssen! It is convenient to the bahnhof and it is within walking distance to a local brewery, and to lots of fun places in the city center. The staff are very friendly, and breakfast is only €3.00!

PRO: Nice staff. Good facilities. Cheap in house drinks. Bike hire

CON: Room smelt of chemicals

Good and Tide, Staff v. attempt and friendly, but not at my arrival time, location pretty close to station, value for too tight room a bit high, Breakfast not seducing.

Great place to stay, very welcoming and helpful too. One night when it was raining hard the lady came out and met us at the car with umbrellas. Very kind and would stay again.

location is not far from train station and good view in front of apartment. staff is so nice and helpful.but Breakfast only a pieces of bread.

I like the place, because it is really near the city. It was difficult in the beginning to find the place because there are two House LA in Fuessen, but so far everything was perfect.

Cool and cozy hostel. Changed reserved two beds in dorm to room for a couple for quite fine additional price.

Have forgotten a backpack when checked out. The personnel has helped a lot with sending it by mail after we had contacted them by email.

I would recommend this hostel for anyone who wants to enjoy siteseeings of Fuessen and Schwangau as not expensive and comfortable place.

The room had very low ceilings, but otherwise was a wonderful place to stay in Fussen.

Hello. I was really impressed by the service and facilities provided. Staff was really helpful. Needless to say, location is very ideal i.e. near to station, market as well as Forggensee. I recommend this to everybody looking for nice, cheap and resourceful place to live in Fussen.

Extremely nice staff. Clean with excellent beds. This was the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. The facility and staff were top notch. We had a room with 3 beds and a couch that was great. The bathroom was kept exceptionally clean. A great experience.

We stayed in House L.A. for 1 night as we were traveling through to Austria. This is the second year that we stayed the night in House L.A. I can recommend it

I didn't feel very stage staying in the hostel. With reception closed so often there is no one to ask for help. I also was concerned that people could walk in right of the street and come into my room. I think it would be better if there were some kind of barriers that only guests could get past such as doors with keys or electronic keypads.

The hostel is clean and comfortable and close to the Transport for the main attractions.

Good hostel. Receptionist was helpful. You can take a bicycle for 8 or 10 euro per day. (i did not take myself). Very close to bahnhof. Hostel is very simple. But the attic room was a bit conjusted.

One of the assistant was rather arrogant when she requested that I speak English - just because she was not used to the Australian accent.

Pros:

- Decently sized, clean rooms

- beds comfortable enough

- about 10 minutes walking distance to Füssen train station

- cold beverages can be bought in the hostel (at least in theory, see below)

Cons:

- rooms are very noisy, we could hear people coming and going all night and banging the bathroom door early in the morning. Didn't get nearly enough sleep - there's a fridge with cold beverages on the ground floor, and I repeatedly attemted to buy some, but never encoutered a memeber of staff to unlock the fridge

We are family of 4. The place is clean. Not so easy to find. Walking distance to the train station. We did not feel comfortable with bank beds for all of us. Staff is Asian, don't speak well English. Some hidden fees. Take your own sheets if you would like to feel better, for small amount of money.

Great place only about 5 minutes from town and the train station. Good value for the money and they let us check in early.

Perfect place for a one night stay, also for family's. Very kind personal..

The place was fine, but I had a problem with the security. I went up to the house, and saw a sign saying "this house is unattended" which means anyway can walk in, including thieves. I also had an issue in that the room I shared with people I didn't know, some of those people didn't apparently lock the room at night. That should be mandatory for a group staying in a room that doesn't know each other.

The hostel was perfect! Nice position, clean, very cheap, clean bathrooms, silent. Only one thing was not perfect. I hope that i will had a german breakfast.

Central location to town centre, clean and tidy enough. But we were able to stay in hotels in Germany for the same price and we went to have a shower in the morning but there was no hot water.

It was fine, but nothing special. The towels were tiny, but the comforters were nice.

A good budget choice to stay 1-2 days and

enjoy the neushwanstein castle.

This appears a great little place right outside of the square. A 7-10min walk from the train station which was perfect for us. Bathroom and room was very clean and the two young ladies that were there running things were so helpful and nice. Definitely recommend!!

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Shower was good. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Location convenient. Staff unhelpful - did not tell us the code needed to get our key for example.

We were 4 people traveling together, and we stayed in a 4 person room. There was a bed and bunk beds. It worked out well.

The public area is really small. If you have a kitchen will be better.

Super friendly and fun! they also have really good milk in the fridge for only a euro; my buddy and I drank around 5 of those things!

Nice place for nice price. Locker, which should belong to me has already been busy so I couldn't use it. Would recommend it anyway.
