I enjoy my stay at this hostel since it is convenient , near to stations and supermarket and moreover the staffs are very supportive.

I would add the price is competitive!

workers are very helpful and the hostel has everthing you need. it is more like a hotel. but location is not very good, you have to take the metro to go to the city centre. by walking it almost one hour (dont do that!!). the lobby could be bigger, anyway it is a classic meininger hostel, the same everywhere..

Great place.

The room was clean and tidied(women dorm) every day and the staff was friendly and helpful. Not too far from the innerstadt. Value for money I will stay there again.

everything was great, maybe the breakfast should be provided by the price for 1 night, also the hotel isn't in the center but we exactly this were looking for so this is not disadvantage, hotel is great for tourists.

It is a very nice place for people like me, that are more interested in a relaxing and quiet visit to the city more than wild party. The staff was nice but not particularly pro-active to help. The location is not too bad. The security could be better. I would be more at peace if there were individual lockers in the 6 bed and up rooms. The best, the cleanliness. Perfect for picky people that is grossed out easily. The breakfast was great, all you can eat with lots of alternatives, but it is not included.

The wifi works pretty well.

Great hostel, kindly staff, clean rooms, bathroom and toilet where separate rooms, which I personally think is great.

Meininger has a great lobby, wifi, chillout area bar, snacks and good atmosphere. The staff were helpful and spoke english. The luggage room was easily accessible. The rooms were clean pity about the boys i was sharing with. The lift was a bit slow... Goodlocation very close to train and lots of shops n cafers nearby. I would stay again for sure.

I'm satisfied with this stay.

İ recommend for new people who stay in a dorm to check in early evening so that you can choose any bed you like.

It is a great hostel if youre looking for a very classy, clean, quiet hotel atmosphere, if youre looking for a party atmosphere then this is not the place, good detox from Amsterdam

The room is very clean! Location is near Metro station! And there is one very delicious turkish restaurant near hotel. But I want to mention that there is no public bathroom to use, there's only one in your room.

I DID enjoy my stay in Meininger Hotel, rooms were pretty big even the dormitory was quite spacious. Everything was clean and looked very nice and modern. The location is also not bad, but if you want to walk to the city centre it'd take more than 1h. Otherwise there is public transportation and it;s not more than 10min by a train to get there. So I do recommend everyone to stay in this hostel :)

Great place close to the Altona station, which is wellconnected to the other station, quiet neighborhood, great staff, had a really great stay, Note: If you sleep in 10 bed dormrooms, earpluggs are your friend! :)

fine for a crash pad in hamburg, location is great but it was very hot and no air con made it impossible to sleep. also very noisy as there were lots of school groups

The area in which it was located was slightly dodgy, but if going in a group, you'd be fine. There's a lovely park within walking distance and also to the fish market. The hostel was nice and clean and very presentable, and the staff were helpful as well. Definitely a good place to stay and worth the money.

Very well kept rooms. Close to transit and shopping. Very friendly staff. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I would stay there again any day.

Extremely clean hostel, how ever it is more like a hotel. It doesn't have a common room so the kitchen more or less was turned into the common area and was where I met a lot of people. Enjoyable stay!

All is new in this very big hostel. I had good time, and meet other kindly travelers.

The hotel its self was excellent and very clean.

The administration leading up to the trip was very poor, it took 6 months to get a up to date invoice.

I booked a 6 bed-room, but got a 10 bed room...but as it was clean and a nice one, it wasn't a problem. Just one thing was very weird - the system of the lockers. Would be nice to change this or at least explain it to the customers

It is a very good hostel. On of the best one that I stayed! I recomend! It is very near to the s banh station but is not in the city center.

This is more a hotel than a hostel - really everything is like in hotel, excepts few beds in room. Big rooms with toliet, bathroom (with everything), TV, cip-card locks and parking, unlimited breakfast.
