Good and cheap hostel. Location is not very central, but the area is really nice and there are lots of cheap eateries and pubs nearby.

We are happy to hear that you liked our Hostel. As you wrote we are not in the middle of the city center, but it is a really nice area with everything you need and perfect connections to main public transportation lines. And everything is cheaper than in the city center.

I spent only one night at Budget hostel but that was enouth to have a positive view. The guys were all very kind and helpfull. We arrived very late in the night because of a delay of our bus but that wasn't a problem at all.The room was big and clean and complete of all comfort. Good atmosphere with many people from all over the world. And it was also very cheap!

The Hostel was so nice, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, and I just loved the kitchen, so nice :D! I recommended it to all of my friends travelling to and across Budapest! I will surely return.

The Hostel is well located.
The main drawbacks are:
- the rooms facing the street don't have proper curtains so no privacy can be assured;
- the configuration of the hostel with all the rooms served by a single common corridor make it horribly noisy;
- the linen should be properly clean (my pillow had several "foreign hairs")
- the towels are not included in the price (1€ each);

The Hostel wasn't bad. Actually it was quite suprising. We've been there by a car, and unfortunately parking at the backyard was 8 Euro. We didn't want to pay additional money, so we left a car 800m far, out of the pay parking zona. But be careful wher you leave your car. The surroundings didn't look safely.

Good placement of the hostel that gives easy access to most interesting parts of Budapest along with good price/quality ratio and helpful service gives this hostel my good opinion. Bad side - bathrooms, as usual.

it was not bad. Big good kitchen, nice people are working here. You can use wash mashine for free. But I didnt like the smell in the room and bed linen and towels are not snow white.

The staff is very nice and helpful and the room was clean. Unfortunatels there was a group of drunk Spanish in the next room, that's why it was a bit loud, but I guess that's bad luck.
I can recommend this hostel.
NOTE: The parking lot for the car costs EXTRA 8€/night!!!

This was a nice place. Clean enough, for sure, lot of good staff and travelers.
The only down side was that it was pretty out of the way, but still walkable, and definitely accessible to trams.

GO TO THIS HOSTEL!! They should rename it Norberts hostel because he is a top top guy, and makes sure your stay is awsome. Apart from that it's so easy to get to everything from the hostel, the local area has everyting you need, and it's a great price. Deffinitely recommended!

We highly recommend this hostel! Although it is not exactly in the center of the city, it is no problem to get there by public transfer.
The fun-factor surely depends on the current flat-mates, but we especially enjoyed the quite atomsphere at that time. The rooms are cozy and nice - everything is particularly clean and well-equipped. The staff members were very friendly and cared a lot. We had a great stay!

Good, clean, nice place to stay. Honest staff! Excellent extra's: kitchen, shower/bath, space! One apartment better equipped than other. Fun factor depends on neighbours. Great, clean place for this price!

The studio apartment are very nice for the price with a clean bathroom and a small pentry. It's positioned just outside the city center in a quite area. The best way to get here from the airport is to take the train to Nyugati station and from there take the blue metro, number 3, to Kálvin Tér and walk from there.
