Elizabeth Bridge Hostel

Description

I, the owner of this familiar Hostel which is in an ancient and beautiful building in the heart of Budapest, offer this Hostel to backpackers, through passengers, families and groups. We are in Kossuth Lajos street which is the main street of Budapest and it joins into Elizabeth Bridge. In the neighbourhood you can reach a lot of famous show-places on foot: Gellért hill and Citadell, Gellért Bath, Buda Castle with Matthias Church, Fisherman's Bastion, Parliament, Danube Avenue, St. Stephen's Basilica,
Synagoge, National Museum and others. If you want to buy
souvenirs, Vaci street (the famous shopping street) is about 50 metres far from the hostel. You can reach other parts of Budapest with metro lines 2 (red) and 3 (blue). You can hop on different buses and trams almost in front of the hostel to reach further interesting places. If you are interested in folklore programs, different festivals, events, or if you'd like to go to the bath or sit on a boat and have dinner, you can buy the tickets at our reception which is open 0-24 hours.
In our building you will find the famous August Confectionery and in the neighbourhood you can visit different cafés and restaurants.
Our hostel is modest but clean. You can stay in our 7-beded or 8-beded dormitory rooms or you can hire the private room with 4 beds. We offer free Wi-Fi and TV, free maps, brochures and flyers, free hairdryer and towel. The safekeeping of the luggages on your departure day is free only until 2 pm.

If you need transfer from or to the airport please inform us in advance. In case you need breakfast please tell us at your booking, the price of breakfast is €4/person/day.

Groups can have discount prices. In case you are 7 people in the group and you stay at least 3 nights, we can offer traditional Hungarian food for dinner such as Goulash.
