Many thanks for the attention, that we got from the young couple in the friendly hostel. Mehrane und Mahmoud were all the time helpful and kind, up to great discussion. We did an unforgettable day- excursion (to Ghalat and Persepolis) with Mahmoud, so we can admit, that he is a great guide too.
Unfortunatly the cleanliness wasn't that excellent.
The fact, that they want to move out with the hostel soon made an excuse for this issue.

I arrived at the airport in the middle of the night and they have been so kind to fetch me from the airport. They helped me so much in the first day in Iran.

Mahmoud and Mehrane are the most friendly people you will find. The hostel is beneath their house and they are always there to help you. They are proud to have hosted people from many countries and love their job. Would definitely recommend going there!

Mahmoud and Mehrane are the best hosts that you can ever imagine. They treated us like their family from the moment when we arrived and gave a lot great advice for us. At their house, it is their hospitality that makes the stay perfect and memorable. Stay here if you're ever in Shiraz. Don't expect luxury here but you will get everything else.

We spent our first two nights in Iran at the friendly hostel and I can only recommend it. Mehrane and Mahmoud are amazing hosts and make you feel at home immediately. You literally enter as strangers and leave as friends. One of the best places ive ever stayed at.

Amazing stay in Shiraz! The room is very basic, but you will get here so much more than just a place to sleep: homely atmosphere, fantastic food, interesting conversations, practical tips on Iran, help with organising your trip. Mehrane and Mahmoud really take a typical Iranian hospitality to the next level!

Friendly House is by far the best hostel I stayed in while in Iran. What makes it so good is that the hosts, Mehrane and Mahmoud, are so hospitable and friendly, always going the extra mile for their guests. For example, every time I needed a taxi, Mehrane and Mahmoud would help me wave one down and negotiate the price for me so I don't get ripped off. The location is not in the city centre, but a bus ride is only 5000 rials and taxis are cheap enough. Recommend 100%

It's been a pleasure staying at the friendly Hostel in Shiraz. She prepared traditional Iranian food for us and gave us a lot of advices what to do in Shiraz.

I would DEFINETIVELY recommend you Friendly House. Their hospitality is beyond expectations. Their home is cozy. They also provided me valuable information for further traveling in Iran.Feeling at home is essential when traveling. And if you are looking for an economical choice: Quality price is unbeatable.
