Taha Historical Hostel

The host is very friendly and introduced us a lot about Shiraz. The room is clean with air-con. The location is quite convenient, you may walk to the nearby tourist spots.

The hostel was clean and felt really homely. The courtyard has a very rustic feel and very relaxing especially with the shelters around where you can rest. Location is pretty good, a bit of a walk to the centre of town but if you don't mind exercising a lil bit it's perfectly fine. Staff was great and friendly - special mention to Hamid the guy who picked me up and went out of his way to show me around. Arrived too early to check-in but he offered me his room to rest in, and also took me on his bike through the small alleys to go SIM card hunting. Would definitely go back to Taha on my next trip to Shiraz!

Stayed at dorm room the first night, it was not very clean. It was all men so kinda stunk. However, we moved to the private room the second night and it was a lot cleaner.

However, the staff was really nice and friendly. Good location and breakfast was fair.

Hostel workers and owner were very friendly and helpful, with central location the biulding was fantastic hisrorical Iran biulding, everything was good.

Taha Hostel is located in the heart of the historical center of Shiraz. The rooms are cleaned and with air conditioning. The courtyard is nice to spend time with other guests, and the staff is very nice. With an affordable price, it is a good option in Shiraz.

We loved Taha Hostel! We stayed there 4 nights, so we really got to know the people there who were always friendly, happy to talk and also help with all kind of stuff (trip to persepolis, bus to yazd, new hostel etc) The hostel is located in the old part of town and divided into two traditional houses with courtyard, creating a lovely atmosphere. It's in walking distance to the city centre, but kind of hard to find the first time - we had an airport pick-up organised by them, which is probably the easiest way to arrive. Our room was clean, had aircon and there were enough bathrooms. We paid 28$ a night for a private room, which seems a fair price. Thanks to Hamid and his lovely family and staff!

Hostel with many tourists, nice to stay late evenings to talk with a tea in front. Cleanliness need improvement. Tip: room with more then 3-4beds (as deluxe bed promoted!) are so crowded and I do not recommend. Overall, locations is good, the hostel is ~OK, a bit more expensive for what is offering.

I had a wonderful time at Taha, it felt like being at home.

Loved this place, Rooms surround a beautiful courtyard, light shines into the rooms through the multi coloured windows, creating the same effect as the Pink Mosque. Great Breakfast, and Elham the girl or runs the place, is truly one of the great characters of Iran. Highly Recommended.

The Hostel is a historical building in the old town. The staff Elham was very thorough in explaining everything upon arrival. The rooms are clean but the bathroom is small. Breakfast is basic eg. tea, milk, bread, jam. No towels given...only when ask, they will give you one (worn out). The location is great can walk to most sites. They will also make arrangement for tours eg. Percepolis. This hostel is always full, do book a head to ensure room stay.

Small hostel for those not looking for great comfort. Short walkable distance to main points in the city. Staff members not so good in English, with one exception - Elmah, she is really sweet, willing to help, able to provide any possible help, I would recommend this mainly for chance to meet her. ;)

The hotel is very good situated, you can visit nearly all the places by foot (except Persepolis ..). Very nive traditional house. You can hire dorm beds, or a private room with bathroom. The guesthouse is very quiet situated.

The most important thing is the staff. They are all very, very helpfull and friendly. They give you tea the whole day and also some fruit. They like to talk with the guest, to give them all the information you need, to care their gust with their whole heart and mind.

Marvellous staying at Taha hostel. The staff was extremely helpfull, we were feeling like at home. The room was clean with private bathroom. Very recommendable.

We stayed three nights at Taha Hostel and felt very at home there. The kind patron Ali and his family and staff were always ready with a pot of tea and a plate of fruit whenever we returned to the hostel from our adventures around Shiraz. This is a special place, and perfect for backpackers.

Tha historical Hostel is the best place to stay in Shiraz. It is very well located and the staff is wonderful (friendly, helpful, cheerful...). They gave us a lot of advices and made a lot of reservations fr us. Our room (2 beds) was very clean and very well equipped. The private bathroom was very small but clean and functional.

Our stay at Taha Historical Hostel was a-ma-zing! The hosts, a young couple, were very nice and helped out with lots of things (like buss ticket and advice for next hostels, etc.). The place is really beautiful too.

One of the best places I stayed in my trip through Iran. The young couple , who runs the place , is just fabulous. They make you feel at home and pamper you as much much as they can. Thank you Mehrane and Mahmoud, for making my stay so special.

I really had great time in Taha hostel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was big with air conditioning and clean. Hostel is located in part of old city of Shiraz. Its historical and interesting place. I recommend strongly Taha hostel.

If you are going to amazing Shiraz there is no better place to stay!!! This new hostel is very beautiful (150year old handpainted ceiling) and the people are so incredible kind and careing, it is very hard to leave again. A very special experience you will not forget!!! Hope to come back soon!
