House of the artist where arts invited us in. Nice place to stay where we can felt and see the atmosphere of Italian life. Old architecture with visible wooden beams in the ceiling which give character to the whole room. Big bed, equipped kitchen, warm water in the shower, all is there :P !

Charming streets...charming place. We recommend it!

We were pleased with the accommodation and the owners but It was noisy with traffic flowing over the cobbled narrow street which gave it an application effect 3 storeys up and therefore overpriced in my view

Very nice little appartment, very central. A bit close to a loud road but usually no traffic during the night. The hosts are fluent in English and very friendly.

A very nice rezidence in a great location (top of Cita Bassa, 5 minutes away from Porta San Agostino which leads to Cita Alta). The owners are very hospitable as well.

You can feel you're in Italy! You press the door bell and the Italian guy calls out from the window that he will come down in a minute. You walk up a staircase of narrow steps and you enter your studio (kitchen, bathroom and bedroom). The room itself is very clean and the owner is very nice. It's located about a 10min walk from the funiculare and a 20min walk from the bus station, but you can also take the bus. There's a fantastic pizzeria up the street from the house :)

The apartment was beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. Possibly the most comfortable bed ever!. The owner was really nice and friendly. Pretty central once you get your bearings!

Only one drawback, the street outside is cobble, and theres no soundproofing, when cars pass (often during the day) its extremely loud. We slept through it, but if you're a very light sleeper bring ear plugs!

This private is very homey. Owner Andrea is painter and whole house is full of his nice paintings. Big advantage is location - nearby the Historical center of Bergamo - Cita Alta. Disadvantige of this accomodation is very noisy street right under the windows.

I will recommend this place to all my friends. Owners are very friendly and open to help, suggest and give directions.

The windows are comming out on a paved street, so unfortunatelly driving cars are very noisy.

If I ever come back to Bergamo I will definitely go back to A&A ;-)

We really enjoyed our stay. Location was great, 5 minutes walk to the old city, 10 minutes to bus stop and 15 minutes to the railway station.

Our studio appartment was beautiful and everything worked well, though it was difficult to find because there were no signs on the street side, we had to call the owner and ask if we are in the right place.. The room can also be a bit cold outside the summer due to lack of proper isolation. There is also some noise from the street at nights, which may disturb some people. Earplugs can come in handy.

There was a renovation going on in the house which affected the coziness a bit, but otherwise we really liked the place as well as the owner who was very helpful and welcoming.

All and all this is a really nice place to stay in the summer and I can recommend it to anyone.

The owner was very helpful; even picked us up from the train station. Our apartment, located in an old apartment house, was cousy and full of feeling: maybe a bit worn out but in a positive romantic way. Location between the upper and lower city was great.

Pretty much noise from the traffic on the street even in the middle of the night: didn't bother us, but maybe good to know in advance.

Just 10 minutes walk from the old city, quite a lot of traffic noise from the street, but we got used to it quickly. The owner was both friendly and helpful.

Great apartments, loads of character, very good value (however the one that overlooks the street is noisy but we were too tired to care). the owner is friendly and offered to pick us up from the train station. Don't make our mistake and go to the wrong Tomaso street!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights for our wedding anniversary. It's a great place for couples, lovely self contained appartment, perfect for a short break. Our hosts were fantastic, they had loads of maps and recommendations for interesting places. They even helped us hire a moped!

Really close to the old town and yummy bakeries too.

This is actually an extremely charming apartment in an ancient (but recently renovated) building, you can feel the athmosphere of the reneissance here. The whole neighbourhood is the same, with the Citta Alta (upper city) within 8 minutes walk, it is perfect for anyone looking for a little romantic place. I could only speak in superlatives about this :) The only problem we encountered was the fact that the people in Bergamo love to drive a car/motor in the ancient, narrow streets, which is a quite noisy hobby of them. All in all, this is absolutely a recommended place by us.
