Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

The Hotel Villa Aurea sits at the foot of the hill of Cortona, the old Etruscan town, in the neighbourhood of Campaccio, with a splendid view of the Val di Chiana and Lake Trasimeno. Situated on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, Cortona is in the heart of an area rich in art and historical-cultural interests, and the town is easily reached.

By Car: Arriving from the A1 Autostrada (tollway) Milan- Naples, exit at “Valdichiana” whether coming from Florence or Rome. Follow the signs for the E45 superstrada (motorway) Siena-Perugia and go in the direction of Perugia.
Exit the superstrada at “Foiano-Cortona” and follow the signs for Cortona until you arrive in Camucia. At the little round crossroad in the middle of town follow the signs for the direction of Mercatale and along the way (just before Pergo) you will find the road and entrance to Villa Aurea.
