Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

The Bed & Breakfast Terrazza Belfiore is located on the second floor of an elegant building with doorman, right next to the heart of the historic center, a few steps from the main monuments, such as the Uffizi Gallery, the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio and just 700 meters from the train Santa Maria Novella in Viale Belfiore, 4.
Just get out the right side of the station, leaving behind you the train tracks, you'll find some stairs and at the stairs end the Tram stop (ALEMANNI ‐ STAZIONE). You have to cross the road and go ahead in the same Tram direction on Via Luigi Alamanni following the rail track, at the junction with Via Jacopo da Diacceto you’ll see a sidewalk bordered by railings just stay on that platform and keep following the tram tracks. At the end of Via Jacopo da Diacceto the road curves to the left (you see a pedestrian crossing with a traffic light), while remaining on the same sidewalk bordered by railings you enter on Viale Fratelli Rosselli, walk straight ahead until the first pedestrian crossing where the railings finish and you can see the traffic light. Once you are at the pedestrian crossing, cross the street and go on the other side (you can see at the corner a big textile shop), passed the building (and the textile shop) on the corner, turn right and you will find the entrance of our building. Because we are very close to the main train station, we suggest you to get here on foot, you can cover the distance in less than ten minutes, but if you would like to use public transport you can save about 400 meters walk. The Tram stop is just outside the train station and you have to get off at the first stop (PORTA AL PRATO ‐ LEOPOLDA), than walk for just 250 meters in the opposite direction of the Tram until Viale Belfiore, 4.
If you land at the Florence airport you have two options to reach us, taxi or a shuttle bus. If you decide to get a taxi, just tell the driver the address "Viale Belfiore, 4". The fixed fee is 20 € including the hotel accompanying. Surcharge: € 1 per bag (Max 5 bags) € 2 if public holiday € 3.30 if night time (from 22:00 to 06:00). The shuttle bus stop is just outside the airport, departs every 30 minutes; you can buy your ticket at the newsstand in the airport or library, or even on board with no extra costs € 6.00 for the single ticket € 10.00 round trip ticket. The shuttle stops you at the main train station from there you can easily reach us.
