If you arrive by car from the road A20 towards Palermo-Messina motorway exit Brolo - continue on SS 113 direction Messina - cross Gliaca Piraino to follow along the SS 113 will arrive in Gioiosa Marea - (total distance 8.1 miles).
If you arrive by car from the road A20 direction Messina-Palermo motorway exit Patti - continue on SS 113 towards Palermo - cross the hamlet of San Giorgio di Gioiosa Marea - to follow the SS 113 will arrive in Gioiosa Marea - (total distance 14.6 Km).
It's possible to arrive by plane. The airport to arrive are: FONTANA ROSSA - CATANIA which is 180 km away; or FALCONE BORSELLINO - PALERMO Airport wich is 170 Km away.
If you arrive by train, there is the railway station of GIOIOSA MAREA which is only 100 mt. away.
