It was difficult to find it at 1st with very llow signage off main road. However, when I did finally found it thru the kind gesture of a fellow traveler to show me where to go.
My only recommendation is a functional kitchen to include a micriwave, stovetop or hot plate, hot water dispenser, & kitchen island with stools.

The place is very run-down and it does not seem particularly clean. However, it's incredibly cheap for the location and especially if you can keep your belongings somewhere else, it's an absolutely fine place to just sleep for a couple of nights.

We were lucky: paid for 2 but enjoyed the whole room. But the facilities are not very up-to-date and the location is a bit far from cener.

The light in the shower was broken, impossible to take a shower, told the staff, but they ignored, no shops nearby, the room are not as in the picture

Bathrooms could be cleaner. And there could be actual hot water in the showers.
The staff at the front desk was incredibly helpful and cheerful. Excellent service from him.

The hostel was not very cozy, there was a lot of mold in the bathroom, the windows did not "sit" properly so while taking a shower, it was literally windy in there.
The same problem was with windows in the rooms - it was super cold and not even additional blankets helped.
Out of 3 staff, only 1 spoke English (this one was really nice, though! ☺)
If I would consider this place again, ONLY in summer so it would not be cold in there.

Hostel located near international bus station (20min by foot) with easy access to town center (metro nearby). Staff welcomed me friendly. Quiet neighbourhood and hostel. Room (floor, bathroom) needs some cleaning. Shower water a bit too cool. Bed is like a hammock. Otherwise good for location and easy access.

THIS YOUTH HOSTEL IS LOCATED NEAR THE METRO STATIONS? SO IT IS EASY TO GET TO THE CITY CENTRE. ONE THING : THERE 4S NO KITCHEN TO COOK YOUR MEALS.

The Hostel is very well connected to the centre of Milan and the location is in a green area of the city. The staff is very kind. Some improvements could be desirable as regards the room cleaning and especially the mattresses' coverings and the plaids.

On the 1st floor only 1 of the 3 showers (ladys) worked. Breakfast was good, beds were good, lots of noice from traffic. People who work there were very friendly and spoke good English

Nice Hostel, and very convenient place, metro and bus stations nearby and parking place available. Also you will get a small map from stuff of reachable shops bars and cafes. Nice place! Recommend!

The Hostel Piero Rotta in Milano has a good
Location.
Breakfast was simple, but very good coffeemat.

The hostel was modern and comfortable. We were there one night. It was very hot in the room, nobody's fault. Good shower but sewage part coming off when you stepped on it. Bad thing is I got no reply to email booking so I had to call them to confirm. Very good to visit Milan anyway.

They need to renovate their shower stalls, because water floods the entire bathroom. They don't prompt people before booking about not accepting credit cards upon arrival. If they do, they charge a small percentage per transaction.

The location is excellent for Expo and city centre. Overall is clean and tidy but gets a bit hot during the night. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Will be back.

Ok just if you're searching low price: 15 euros/a bed in a room for 6, but just if you book online (otherwise 22 euros if you book there).

My stay has been very pleasant. The coffee at breakfast is wonderful, probably the best one in all hostels worldwide.
We had a very good night. Just to notice there are heavy works to improve the hostel on the days (in May2015).

Was much better than expected! A bit noisy becaiuse lots of school groups go there, but big rooms and lockers- just what we needed for a place to stay to attend expo

- no soap in the bathrooms (sometimes not even hygienic paper)
- location: noisy place, hostel sited along a road full o f vehicles and prostitues= difficulties to sleep well
- only sweet breakfast: no ham or cheese, no fruit juices

The staff was friendly, rooms were neat, only neighbours in the next room and a corridor were quite noisy: talking and loudly packing or unpacking their luggages.

Handy for subway. There were a few bars and cafes nearby that were pleasant. Would like to see an opportunity to improve breakfast - something simple like a toaster as breakfast was a little bland.
