From the Naples airport we can take the bus (alibus) that will take us to the central station.
From Naples the nearest train station is Naples and the most direct connection is the Napoli-Sorrento line or the Napoli-Poggiomarino line of the CIRCUMVESUVIANA railway with two stations in the territory of Herculaneum. The ERCOLANO-SCAVI station is located right near the archaeological excavations, while ERCOLANO-MIGLIO D'ORO station allows you to visit the villas along the roadside. Average journey time from Piazza Garibaldi about 20 minutes
We can also reach from the central station with the regular train, trainitalia. The nearest stop is Torre del Greco.
