Happy Rome

Nice place, clean, location is good (near metro), easy to find and with laundry and restaurants around, the staff is very gentle and helpfull, give me iformation about anything i asked for. I recommend this place.

the G&N telephone number provided in the online reservation was not contactable. we had to call another telephone to reach a staff. and waited for a long time.

also the address given online is different from the address where we stayed.

these wrong contact info was very annoying.

the wc was clean but cleaning buckets and mops were not hidden from visitors view.

G@N rooms were clean, quiet,safe provided basic needs for sleep.

It's not an hostel, it's a room rental. The bedrooms are bare and stark; the house is quite clean, but doesn't offer anything more than a place to rest, and a kitchen if needed. It's ok if you're young, looking just for a place to sleep and willing to save money. The staff is kind and helpful, the position is close to the city center.

This hostel is good because rooms clrean and stuffs are so nice.

the house's number is wrong, i arrived in the place and the owner called me, because it was other place. i didn't like that. the hostel doesn't have breakfast, wash machine, hairdryer, and the kitchen is no good.

This is a very nice and cheap place to spend few days in Rome. It's close to the Termini Station and Colloseum is within a walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it :)

When I went to the hostel on the day when I arrived at Rome. But no one answered at the hostel. I had to search other hostel on the day of my arrival.

Very stupid. They must had known when I arrive at the hostel because I had noticed to the hostel about my arrival time and day.

the hostel was really great, my friends and I had a good suprise because we excpected it to be awful.

And the staff? waw really funny and nice!!

Spend one night there in a 4beds room after a late arrival at the airport. The owner was really nice, calling to be sure I arrived, waiting me to show me the place even if it was late. The bed was clean, comfortable and the place really quiet ! Since I didn't spend time in the area can't say anything more than I spend a good night.

Private house hostel. cute kitchen. clean bathroom. great location to everything. not sure about the pink lighting, the male apendage and the over familiar manager that greet you first thing through the doorway. btw-don´t laugh out loud cause you´ll get told off for it. seriously :/

Very good. It looks like a house, very confortable.

I stayed at G&N House for 3 nights and I highly recommend it. The position was very convenient (cloase to Metro Station and Roma Termini), it was always kept very clean, the rooms were delightful, and the staff very friendly and made my stay all the more enjoyable.

This place was cheap and with a good location, but otherwise it was pretty horrible. The manager actually said he didn't like Obama because he doesn't trust black people. Oh, but he claimed he wasn't racist. The bathroom didn't have any soap or shampoo. Is that too much to ask? The beds were also closer to hammocks with the springs being so weak. If you want a very cheap place to stay, this might be all you have in Rome, but look elsewhere!

The owner of the hostel is very friendly and helpful, help everything that I ask. The hostel is near to public transport and the Termini. The internet is very good. You could cook, or a shop and a restaurant is about few meters far from the hostel. Krisztina, Hungary

The g and n house is a cute little apartment right near the main attractions like the colloseum, the staff are welcoming and accomodating, very chilled out and friendly, great place to stay at and very cheap

The place is really close to the Termini station, and you can get to the Colosseum in 15 mins walking. The staff is really nice, and alwas try to make you habe a good time. My friend and I were there for three night and really liked the service Q&N provided. The only problem we had was to find the place, the references for the location were not very exact; besides that I recommend the place if you need an economic place to spend a couple of nights

I went to the location of the hostel and pressed the bell at 8pm. No one responded. I ended up staying at other hotel.

This was a reasonably good hostel... in that it was clean enough, and the location was close to the main train station. It was very quiet and only one bathroom. But because there were only a few of us staying there it wasn't a problem. Overall... it was reasonable for the price.

Dangerous neighborhood. Reception in separate building. Barefoot receptionist, not helpful. Scary evening. Would not suggest this hostel.

I was there with one some of my friends, i like very much the attention, also the staff is very friendly and they were always paying attention to our necesities, the place worth every cent, its not to close to the central points but not too faa, and its easy to go around from here.

I was very pleased with the hostel-- it was clean, in a good neighborhood, a few blocks from Manzoni metro, with accomodating staff. The breakfast was very simple, but there's a supermarket around the corner, and plenty of space in the fridge. I would recommend it to my friends.

The hostel is very good located close to many important things in Rome. You can walk for 10 15 minutes and get to important monuments. The bathrooms and rooms are clean, you can take time to rest and enjoy yourself after a long walk. The landlord is very kind and can help you with anything you need. Worth your money and I would definitely come back again.

The best thing about this hostel is the overall quality, the price and that they keep what they promise. The manager is very friendly and the place is clean with two bathrooms.

It is easy to find if you get directions from google, it has no sign.

The only negative point from me is the fact that not all rooms can be locked.

Overall a nice, calm place... Barely see any of the others at the hostel, but good for a place to crash after a long day of touring Rome.

was only there for one night but it was pretty nice , the position is good (like 10 min walk to termini station). the staff is very helpful and give you explanations and directions.

there is an effort to be made maybe to offer more comfortable beds. otherwise everything is ok for the price you pay. would recommand this hostel and go back when I have the chance.

Nice place, not many rooms, clean and location is good, about 10 minutes from metro.

Although neighborhood is not best buy, hostel is very clean and rooms are beautiful. Owner and all other staff are great.

It was very nice hostel. Clean and the Staff were very nice to us ; ) It is very close to Termini station and metro. IT IS WORTH THE PRICE!

This was a nice hostel, it was more like staying in someone's home. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is a kitchen available, which is quite nice. There aren't any lockers and the rooms don't have locks on them, but I wasn't too worried about leaving my things unattended in the room. (i didn't have a computer though). There are only 2 bathrooms, which are big and nice, but when the hostel is busy, it is difficult to get into the bathroom! All things considered,I would definitely stay here again!

Reserve it, and you'll see how good it is!!

This is my second time I go. This is perfect, there is no loud, the beds are well and it's cheap!

The hostel is still 30 minutes walk to the station (Think about if you have luggages...). It is probably better to take the tram (4 stops! not near). Take care you need to pay the rome stay tax, which is in addition to the room fare advertised. No breakfast. It is by no means a good deal for the price. But not too bad. The staff is actually quite interesting.

Very good position close to main train station&metro.

Everything else is mainly basic - but decent enough as you can expect from a hostel.

One of the beds was very unconfortable. We ask the staff to change it but they didn't give us any solution.

It's near the train station but it doesn't seem to be a safe neighborhood.

Horrible beds. Fell of the bed thrice in 12 hrs (bed automatically folds).

No soap, no towel, no cleanliness. Place is very near to Termini Rly Stn. Manager is good.

I had a very good time in G&N House because everyone is friendly and acessible, very nice people, the rooms are good, clean both the rooms and the toillets, the only sound you listen at night is the one from the city itself and is very near to the train station - that helps a lot! See you again for shore in my next time at Rome!

oh by the way, the understand spanish, portuguese and english! that really helps!!!!

We stayed only for one night at G&N House (we spent our holiday in Sorrento and had to catch a flight back home from Rome very early in the morning). Even if it was just for one night, it was a pleasant stay! The location is good (10 minutes from the Colosseum) and we had a warm welcome and had the opportunity to taste some Romanian wine from the owner! We had a nice chat with him.

Our private room was very good (it even included a large wardrode and a kitchen). Only comment is that the shower was not very clean.

But I would definitely go back if I go visit Rome!
