L'ostello è piccolissimo, è un appartamento con 3 camere da 10 persone l'una, è molto sporco e non ci si può nemmeno muovere.

i bagni fanno paura da quanto sono sporchi e pure i letti, ho trovato adirittura delle macchie di sangue sul mio cuscino e nn ci sono nemmeno le lenzuola. Nel complesso una pessima esperienza che sconsiglio vivamente a TUTTI.

Firstly the position is fantastic! Same as the staff, i had coffee made for me in the morning which is always great. A great bunch of people were staying there when i was. The place is quite small but adequate. I highly recommend.

I was dissapointed. There are only 2 bathrooms for a lot of people and not enough space for social activities..you need to go out of the building to get to know each other.

Do not make a reservation at Mona Lisa. We booked a girls room for 5 people online and checked in at 9:30am. It wasn't until 7:30 at night when we came back to the hostel did we find out that there are not girl's rooms and there were only 3 beds available for our 5 people. The man working the desk was nice enough about it, but not helpful at all and we could not figure out why we weren't aware of this situation earlier. We ended up getting a small discount but not enough to make the experience worth it-don't go through these surprises, book somewhere else.

Great place, great people, felt welcome and slept really well after exhausting sightseeing and partying :) Didn't have much "fun" there simply because I only spent (parts of) my night there :)

I had a great time in Mona Lisa hostel. The diner at the night is offer, pasta, in wich all the hostes meet each others. The ambiance is familial, it's a good place if you travelling alone. The location is exeptionnel, just in a centre at 10 minutes from Fontana De Trevi. I recommend this place.

Room is clean and the staff are helpful. They provide a useful map of Rome that includes all the attraction and the MRT route.

My sister and I stayed in this hostel for two nights in the beginning of May. Loved the location, it's really close to many sights (took us around 15 minutes) such as Fontana di Trevi, piazza Venezia, Piazza del Campidoglio and once you get there the Colosseum and Foro Romano are right around the corner. The staff was great! The only thing we didn't like was the fact that both bathrooms were pretty cramped and in desperate need of remodeling...

The staff was very helpful and kind.

The location is absolutely perfect, we could walk to all important sightseeing places.

The position in the city is awsome and the staff (Youssef) is raely kind, but everything else is bad. The shower is terrible and the place it self is dirty and dark.

Really nice location, the crew guy really tries his best to make you comfortable, but it's quite difficult to find and i booked the female's dorm, but i got into a mixed one.. only 2 bathrooms for about 20 people is not quite enough i'm afraid.. but i had a nice time!

Nice place. Completely satisfied with the staff and cleanliness of the place. It is also placed at the proper location from where we can roam around the city.

We would not stay there for second time, the place is not very well kept.We paid 2 places in 6 beds room but the first night they put as in 10 beds room.

I think that you should use new sheets for each new person. I think that the same sleeping bag is not hygienic.

The hostel is nice,good location,easy to find and to reach with pubblic transportation even at night.

Pillows are not of good quality and could be replaced with new ones, the toilet is not very clean and the toilet paper is never replaced. The staff could be more friendly,no help,no smile,no hello when somebody comes in the hostel. that's a pity because the place is nice. moreover foreign staff makes you feel you are entering an abusive place.

Nice place for a short time, but the lockout and bed time are quite a nuisance. Watch out - there is NO WIFI! however the kitchen is well equipped and in general I have really enjoyed my stay.

Honest place, it is worth the money you pay for it. The dinner is offered by the staff, the hostel is usually full of young funny people from all over Europe. The building is quite old and would need some adjustments, but it is in the center of Rome.

The info on the hostel was inaccurate, there was no free breakfast, but there was free dinner. We had to stay in a seperate building with no shower so we walked down 4 flights of stairs and up 3 to the main rooms for a shower. Great position as soon as you walk around the corner the colloseum is in view. The guy who made dinner for us every night was super fun.

It wasn't so clean,in the room with 10 beds the bathroom isn't in the room.

But the guys at the reception were really friendly and funny. It can be considered on the average but homely!!

DO NOT GO THERE! Was the worst hostel I have ever seen. The place is dirty, most of the things that are written on the web page is a lie. You do not have internet, the reception is awful and with the kitchen of the hostel, the only two employees who have not qualified for the job. The electrical wires were exposed., and what's more dangerous, are in the bathrooms. The breakfast is not offered by the hostel, in fact they give you instant noodles for you to prepare. The hostel not offers towels shower,and when I asked gave me a bed sheet for me to dry. I booked a room with 8 beds and got one with 11 beds. You do not have hot water for showers and they repeat the same bed linen for several guests. I left there with the whole body with red and with allergy. I think the place should be banned. That's not a hostel.

Filthy, unhygienic and overcrowded

It is an excellent option if you've got a short budget! It is well located, to the train station and to many attractions in the city... Staff is cool, friendly and willing to make you spend a great time... They serve dinner for free in the common living room and you meet lots of people!

The worst hostel i have ever been. It is very nasty, they never change or fixed anything from the bath to the bed and we found bugs everywhere. It was a bad experience have lodged here.

It's a fine hostel,my impression after 4 days there is better than the aspectations before arrived in Mona Lisa:)

Nice,Kind stuff,comfortable bads.Realllly friendly people,good price.i recomand it for all who are open for knew friendships and not very demanding.

The room was not clean and the bathroom had a smell really bad.

The breaksfast is not included but its good and cheap. They clean the bathroom everyday but there is only 2 bathrooms for everybody. The staff was really nice and our roommates were really nice people! we loved staying there! There is no wifi, you can use the hostel's computer but it is very slow!! we had a great time, we had sangria (wine with fruits) and that night was reallly fun!

Great staff, great atmosphere! I have so much fun in this hostal! totally recomended...

The Hostel is little but so near of the most intersting places by Metro and bus...so easy to reach everthing at Rome!!...and the people who works there is SO NICE! everybody is kind, and people can spend a lot of fun moments every night! They help you with any doubt! Absolutly recomended!!

Its a ahame there's you have to be in before 3 and you cannot stay during the day between 11 and 4.

I leave on this page a comment not for the mona lisa hostels but for the Ivanhoe Hostel, because for one over bokking I needed change hostel!!Ivanhoe Hostel was Amazing!!!good staff and good organization,It's close to many Attraction and Art of Rome!!In the next time i will go back to Rome...i'm shure i will choose Ivanhone Hostel!!!

The guys are very nice and helpful, only 2 bathrooms for 30 persons but lucky that we didn´t have to wait much. Location is great, 10 minutes walking to Colisseo and really really near to the highlights. Perfect Hostel for sleep and go. Recommended for low budgets.

Except for Adrian, the spanish guy at the front, the rest of the place is not worthy of anyone of us.

People in Mona Lisa are incredible nice! They´ll really try to make your life easier... The place is really nice and cozy and very well located.

Overall, enjoyed my stay at Mona Lisa.

My only complant is that breakfast should be free.
