Please NEVER go to this hostel. The owner stole money from us and the other lady staying in the hostel (450€).We went to the police next day but the guy can still do that again.

You booked per two people and thinking that you can be smart was four people in the room,for this reason you was invited to pay an extra fee and to give the documents from the others two,you did nt like it at all.Every room have safe box combination lock for this you get an complaint for slander and libel

Location is really great. 10 min from the Colloseo. I felt like i rented a private flat, not lived in a hostel, as the owner gave us keys and left. She is very helpful. There is a fridge but no kitchen. I would stay there again.

Simple, but very good Hostel. Has all you really need, is clean, extremely cheap and the Staff is very friendly. The rooms are big, the shared bathroom is no problem, as only 2 rooms use it. The location is very central, 10min walking to Termini or Coloseo.

the room is exactly like in the photos.it was clean,gabriela very friendly.the location is very good,close to the train station and other sights.we had only a problem in one night with the lack of hot water and ...with a guest who had a bad habit to slap the door...in rest was perfect for us.we like it at "farfalla" i recommend it.

It is a great place to spend few days in Rome:) Good prices and all basic things that you need during your stay: clean bedroom&bathroom, fridge, hair-dryer and very helpful owner:)

The lady that has the apartment was very helpfull and fare to things we didn't expect. The location is good, close to Termini station where you can get bus or metro to get anywhere. It's also in walking distance from everything. It's an apartment with several rooms. The shared bathroom was cleaned everyday. The breakfast is served in a dinner close to the hotel, and it includes one croissant and coffe or orangejuice. I would surely recomend the apartment to anyone that wants a plain and budget stay especially because of the lady that was so helpfull.

I would like to recommend La Farfalla all those, who want to stay in Rome in beautiful environment. This hostel has a great atmosphere. The owner is a beautiful and very kind person.

It's not possible to give my full review (it doesn't allow me).Overall,the hostel is good,but be aware that the "famous" host (Gabriela)is nice only when she wants!SHe moved us to another hostel (worse)without a reason!

You booked a double room but you got the luck to get a quadruple room for 4 days(very spacious as you knows)for these reason the last night we asked to you to move in anothere hostel (same aerea,5 minutes by foot and it is also on hostelsclub with good rewiews)just because for logistical reasons we need the room.We asked to you to move and we told the reason too,if you was not agree why you didn't say nothing before?And the room that you got there was just a simple double room not a quadruple

La Farfalla is a perfectly located apartment near Termini train station, Colloseum and between the two metro lines. The rooms were cleaned every day and you have plenty of space for your luggage. Last but not least the host, Gabriella, is very friendly and helped us with simply everything. I can strongly recommand the lovely B&B. We enjoyed our stay at La Farfalla and will definitely come back.

We had a great time and the B&B was clean, nice, very close to Termini and near the Colloseo! Gabriela was also very nice and social. We even had free breakfast for the whole week we stayed there. Gabriela, see you next time!

Nicely decorated room, a bit noisy though and dark. It's good that they have a fridge. They shouldn't call it B&B though if the breakfast is not included...

This is a good place to stay if you want quiet and cleanliness - it was quiet despite the fact that it's situated in central Rome. It served us well as its just 10 or so minutes walk from the Termini (central) station where you can take buses to everywhere. Despite the fact that we spent the first night in a different place due to a mistake by the host, it was still a very good stay!

The room was nice with all the butterflys and clean. A real wardrobe would be nice. There is no living room and you dont get something to eat or drink, but you can use a fridge. There is a very good cafe on the next corner, where you can get a good italian breakfast (coffee and brioche) If you are just looking for a bed and a shower in the city center than it is perfect. I enjoyed to stay there.

This is the best hostel i ever been in price/quality.
The owner is really nice and helpful, we had a great time in Rome thanks to her.
I recommend and if i come back to Rome, for sure i will come back to La Farfalla.

Its nice and clean place in the centar of Rome,everything is ok except when you have in other rooms italian guest and when they go to bathroom and stay more than 1 h ,( I have 3 italian neighboors and more than 2 h I wait every day)

Great location. Walking distance to nearly all touristic places in Rome. The owner of the hostel is quite kind. She explained important things about Rome on arrival.Breakfast is 2 euro but weak. We stayed as a couple and could recommend this place.

Great place located half way between Termini Station and Colosseum. On the same street there is a nice cafeteria, pizza bar, trattoria and few shops. Room was very clean. Host (Gabriella) is very helpful. Generally if you need something cheap in center that's it. Lucas & Monica

It is a very good place, quality/price if you are looking for a small holiday in Rome. Perfect to just stay for some days. Nice bedroom and decoration for a home feeling. Total freedom with the keys. We are very satisfied with our stay!

Very close to Termini station. Accomodation is next to the street, so at night I recommend to use ear plugs. We had shared bathroom and fridge. But no glasses or plates. The host gave us later plastic one and also she borrowed us a kettle. There was no TV, but sometimes we had also wifi :) free.

plates?! €35.00 for a double room
with towels and daily cleanings we think is enough for enjoi your stay.wifi is always working:)

Really good location and good value for money. The room very simple but nice. Great noise so better close the windows. You have to leave a room between 12-2pm. I did not like it but we we were out for the rest of the day so no bother.

Although we sent a message about our arrive to Rome, we were not expected and we spent about one an hour before the locked door...and We didn´t get back our deposite key..nobody was at home while we left the flat (the time of our departure was announced). The position of "Farfalla" is good for tourists, it´s true...

You called us around 01.00pm when you was in front to our door but your estimated arrival time in the reservation was 04.00pm.The deposit keys as usually was on the fridge with a paper with your
name,never before we had a problem with a deposit keys,that was the first time in four years
anyway if somedody stolen it we are so sorry and we will send you the E10.00 back.

The position is very good, the subway is just few meters down the street. Room was nice, pretty clean,the street a bit noisie (Rome is generally noisie..). Breakfast was not much, but sufficient, there is enough to taste in the city... The housekeeper is very kind and helpfull. If you want a simple but good and decent priced room this is the right accomodation for you.

We were a little late in getting to the B & B due to flight delays and instead of being greeted by a warm welcome we were yelled at for not being exactly on time. It is called an "estimated time" for a reason. However the location was great really close to the colosseum and after the first incident the staff was nice and hopeful.

the location is really very good, u can walk almost everywhere in rome. if u dont like to walk its really close to metro station.owner is very helpfull and cheerful.ı can say just there is no kitchen and common room but if u are looking for a peaceful and safe place to stay it would be one of the best option we stayed 3 nights and felt like home. strongly recommend!

Rooms are nicely decorated, the hostel location is really great, you can visit all historic sights on foot. But the street is quite noisy, so ear plugs are highly recommended ;-)

Very nice staff and very good location when you arrive at Rome and to move in it (Termini has many bus connections, and Colosseo is not more than 10 minute-far by foot).
Normal room and bathroom, very clean.
In one word: for a tourism/sight-seeing stay, I recommend!

Gabriela was also and help me a lot with everything that I needed. Also the room was fantastic and the hostal was really clean. It´s 5 minutes to the main station and 5 minutes from Santa Maria mAGGIORE...

Wonderful and quite cheap place to stay in Rome. In the hearth of the city, close to everything. Hostel was very clean and comfortable. Owners are very kind persons.
Breakfast was included in the price.

this is a great place to stay. I would totally recommend it. The rooms were very cute and everything was so clean. We had a wonderful bathroom that was very spacious and clean. The room had plenty of shelves and racks to hang everything. Good location near banks, supermarkets, and food. About a 15 minute walk from Ancient Rome area. You should definitely go! The owners are really nice and accommodating.
