Don't make the same my mistake, don't give money to these people, don't book this hotel! Al mio arrivato sono stato sgridato e insultato dal proprietario, once arrived the manager didn't want to give me the room i booked but another one, in another building, and lower quality, and he also shout at me, humiliated me! i Should have called the police for what happened!

Falso commento! questo cliente uomo ha riservato sbagliando una offerta speciale per un posto letto in camerata femminile e pretendeva di dormire nella camera solo donne,ma siccome ovviamente non è possibile questo lo abbiamo offerto una altra camera dormitorio mista ma il cliente ha reagito malamente insultando il ragazzo incaricato nell'appartamento.

Very dark in all rooms like in prison, without sun. Almost everyday staff makes dinner for themselves in late evening, very loudly. Too dirty for me.
Very good location.Friendly keeper.

This place was less than I expected, considering I've rented similarly priced places in London and Amsterdam that were much nicer. The toilet was a little mouldy, and the street was really loud. The staff was super friendly, and otherwise the place was clean. It is also practically in the middle of Roma, so an excellent location.

I arrived around 9pm, which was much later than I estimated because my flight was delayed, but it was a bit harder than it should have been to find someone to let me in. I tried 3 or 4 numbers before finding one that someone answered. They were quick to come and get me settled in after that, but I had already tried to find the address posted on their sign and couldn't find the street either, so it was a bit more difficult than it should have been.
It wasn't super-clean and it also wasn't super-dirty. About what you expect from a cheap hostel.
I was most disappointed that although I specifically looked for a place with air conditioning, it was sweltering hot in there, and I was told (by the other guest in the room) that the A/C didn't work. The common room - reception, kitchen, hallway - didn't have A/C at all and was very hot.
I probably wouldn't book a room there again.

I really enjoyed my stay in Rome. I had a good time with the russian girl anna that i met there. And really appriciate the colluseum gift you gave to me. I shall really recommand this place to everyone who is going to visit Rome. I got back home safe after my stay, thank you.

We had a good stay. It was well located. Th= staff was great and helpful but Walter is a little moody. A commons room is needed fo% groups that stay.

Look out! This is not a hostel,this is a private apartment. Hosts are not friendly. This is the worst hostel that i have ever seen.

Pretty nice location, easy accessible to railway station. But rooms could have been less congested and less noisy. Still recommend for money value and location.

It really like a home and I love the staff there,special Nikka as he is so nice,easy going and helpful. Walter is also a good boss and have a good relationship with his employee. I joined their fairwell party for his employee and really love it. The location is good that allows you to go to anywhere easily, like central station and other tourist points. They provide breakfast with Nutella. The only drawback is the bed lien is not thick enough. You may feel cool when you forget to turn warmer to the highest at night. The price is cheap.

We had to call and wait some minutes for the guy from the hostel, but luckily somebody let us inside meanwhile. We only stayed one night, and the guy was very kind, the room was fine and the bathroom was very nice - in fact one of the best hostel bathrooms, I have been to - clean and private. Breakfast wasn't anything special. I could definitely recommend the place for that kind of money...

The day of arrival my flight was delayed and I arrived after midnight. Although I had emailed him 13 hours prior from shianghai to warn him the owner refused me!!!
I was left out on the street at 12:30 at night in Rome after 24 hours of flying! Brava!!

It's really close to the main Train Station, but not so much from the good touristic center - where the real magic happes! The place is ok (beds and shower are fine and clean), but has no common room, nor anything fun. And the breakfast is really simple (they say they have nutella, but it's a fake one! lol). There are better places to stay, but you won´t have a bad time here.

Magic Place hostel has really good location, close to Termini station and metro station. It was very convenient! Hostel is actually an apartment that has been changed to a hostel that is why there is no common room where everybody can hang out together. Nevertheless the place is nice, breakfast is included and staff is friendly.

comfortable beds,free laptop and wifi,all day coffe machine for free,breakfast simple but included. Reception is one building beside but the staff that will take you from reception to the other aile is staying there too so he is your link...he is extremely kind,friendly,available and show you how everything work when checking in.the dorm itself was very silent as they are garden side.it s easy to meet other people in the tv kitchen wifi area.

Clean enough, but the staff didn't seem so organised. With this website and the directions when I booked, I was brought to the wrong location of the hostel!! Please, make sure you have the address correct when people book!!! It was late and I just wanted to check in quickly!

Bathrooms smelled quite bad. Family lives there, we actually sat and watched them eat as we waited for our room, awkward. Also no common area to meet others:(

Completely false comment and also nasty.Theese girls came early in the morning before 8.00 AM and they demand with arrogance to enter in the room despite of the check out for other guests is after 11 AM and also we need time to clean the room.There is common area therefore is small,but we are just an hostel Bedbreakfast apartment ,not a huge establishment .My emploies are from Sri Lanka not a family ,and at the moment theese girls came they were eating breakfast much more before the working time.My workers are not robots as theese girls claimed.

We ended up in the second flat, had all the facilities that the normal flat promised, except the wifi didn't seem to work, but at least there is a fixed laptop available. Dorm room in this house is not good - people coming in at all hours, turning on the light, noisy door, last time i will stay in a dorm

Very convenient inside. Easy to find and rather close to Termini (railway station) and the city centre. It will be better if staff learn english better.

We stayed at magic hostel for seven days and would recommend it
it's clean,the rooms are big and the location is quite good(metro station,30 min walk to the colosseum).the staff is really nice there!if you travel as a group.you should know that there is no common room,but there is a table and chairs in each room.you even get towels there.

Hostel is the centre - 10 minutes to Coloseum 50 meters to metro station. The only problem is that the rooms are very small and without windows... but it's really clean, the staff is wonderful and they have good coffee machine :)

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!! had a really horrible experience at this hostel. was booked at Magic Place then moved to another hostel without being told beforehand. tried to charge me more as well, apparently that "special offer" was only limited for a few days, and found out that they did this to other guests too!! i suggest you find another place to stay!

A nice place to stay. The location is good, near Termini and matro station. The staff is really friendly and generous. The room is pretty small but still ok for such a cheap price!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We booked a 6 bed dorm and was moved into an unknown place with 17 beds in total (disposable walls) 1 toilet and 1 shower. Kitchen was dirty and it was like we were cattle herded into one tiny place. Do not book here, or cherry hostel or other connecting hostels, all are owned together and you will just end up in some dirty place that you did not book.

completely false comment.Theese people demand to stay in a luxury and magic private bedroom as an 4 stars hotel ,completely misundestanding we are just an hostel apartment ,completely changed what they reserved was just only 2 beds in mixed shared room as dormitory,at a very sold out price ,only 10 euros per night,so we offered another accommodation near by ,but they demand also not pay the extra TAX STAY ROMA,not to show the passport, so they forced us to work illegally.People completely nasty and spoilt,probably they come here only to demage our reputetion and our job. Please never again.

A nice hostel. Quite clean. Only problem I had was that the main office is at Walter's Hostel, not at the place itself. Be aware of that when going.
It is placed in the middle of an area of immigrants, very near Roma Termini, and also close to the main tourist attraction.
All in all, a great value for its price!

First of all, it's like the house of the guy, and the place wasn't where it says on the website. The room's were divided by disposable walls. So after we saw the place, we practically ran away to another hostel. Worst experience ever.

The hostal was okay.You can use the kitchen.The staff was friendly and kind. The only problem that I had is that I need to pay 4 euro more per night if I want to use the wireless and breakfast than I booked in hostelclub.

Perhaps the best things about this hostel is the delicious free breakfast they host and the warm rooms. I also would like to commend on the helpful staff and the position of this hostel. Definitely we enjoyed our stay here. :)

Is a very good option is very closer to the metro station vitorio emanuelle and from there u can go to the vatican,to the colesseum only in 15 minutes and the best is that u can to walk to the termini station,the bathroon is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful is perfect for the price
