My expectations were below what I have experienced later. I have been in many hostels, but so far this is the best one I have ever stayed. This is phantastic hostel for great price! I would be willing to pay even more for being acommodated in this property. I was surprised by huge garden, where it is located. The staff was very friendly. Rooms are very nice and clean, bathrooms as well. They have restaurant with range of meals for very reasonable prices and incredibly big portions! Like at home:):) If they would do some adjustments to this hostel, it could be five star hotel! They have incredible facilities like swimming pool, etc. Thank you guys for nice stay there!

Train-link is very important, and it would be useful to have a sketch-map for walkers to and from the station. The staff made the problems of the national strike-day (22) tolerable by taking into account the problems of at least 4 people.

This place is AMAZING. Only downside is that you are a half an hour train journey outside of Rome, but the tickets are only €2.30 into the city, and the hostel is so nice that it is worth it. Very relaxing, lovely people, amazing atmosphere. Loved it!

We had a very good apartment, nice atmosphere in the dependance in downtown Zagarolo. It was fantastic that everyday we were taken from and brought to our apartment from the station. Everything was done to make us feel comfortable. But we missed the atmosphere of staying in a hostel with other people, getting to know other visitors, etc. That is why the fun factor is not so high and the atmosphere is lower than it could have been.Furthermore we had a wonderful holiday, no doubt about it.

Extreamly nice Staff and concept, but if you want to visit Rome you should really look into a map (wich I didin't do) and realize it's not so close! The biggest inconvinient for me was to catch the train and that I couldn't delay or I could lose it and wait another 30 or 40 minutes! =(

But if you are looking for adventure, it is a really nice place to stay, clean and the staff is really nice and friendly. The city (Zagarolo) is cute also, so don't lose the opportunity to visit it. =)

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Very nice building and nice room. Breakfast very poor. Diner too expensive and poor. Although I had a very good time, it's a pitty that the pool was closed.

The hostel was lovely. Very quiet though and a fair bit off the beaten track, I happened to be in Zagarolo anyway so it suited me. The Kitchen was in need of a serious clean and didn't inspire me to cook, even though i am an avid traveller and cook for myself nearly every night.

The beds were comfy and clean as was my bathroom, and there were no annoying mosquitoes despite the lush surroundings. Train into Rome is very handy and cheap too, only 2.50 for a one way or 6 for a BIRG ticket which is a return plus all of your public transport in Rome for a day. Zagarolo itself is quiet yet you could amuse yourself around the old town for a day.

The staff were lovely very helpful. Overall the hostel is worth a look.
