If you are travelling north from Vientiane to Vang Vieng you will be driving on route 13, Phongsavanh Resort is located down a small lane just off route 13 in a quiet neighbourhood in Poorn Peng village. Just 300 metres (a 4 minute walk) from the centre of town, as you drive into Vang Vieng you will see the old airfield and you will pass the South Bus Station on your right hand side, about 300 metres after the bus station you will see a large wooden sign for Phongsavan Resort. Turn right down the lane then another 30 metres away you will arrive at the gates of the guesthouse. If you are getting a minibus from Vientiane you will be dropped off in town, head for the main four way intersection with Lao Telecom on one corner then walk away from the river eastwards over the old airfield and you will see the signs for the guesthouse.

If you are travelling from the north from Luang Prabang you will be dropped off at the North Bus Station, this is 3 km away from the centre of town so you will need to get a tuk tuk, just 10,000 kip per person, to Phongsavanh Resort, all the tuk tuk drivers know where it is so you will have no problems getting there.
