It is difficult for me to rate on the above areas since the hostel was closed for renovation. It was a terrible experince for us to arrive Riga and found out that do not have a place to stay. And the city was fully booked at that period due to world sing competition in Riga. We had to spend the night on the worst hostel that I have ever been to.The staff of Gerdi arranged this as a replacement for us. It was more than 30 mins drive from the city and filled with smokers and dirty. No english speaking staff.We checked out by 6.am because we could stand the place any longer.

Too strange place to recommend. Very poor district of Riga, too far from center and railway station.
And personal is not doing their job very well, hovewer they are very pleasant.

for such a low price it is understandable that it wont be perfect. location is good, staff is a bit stange, but kind. the main proble is thin walls and doors. you should be super tired to be able to sleep there. and wifi is very weak there

It is quite good place for its price. We didn't look for fun or other espects, so it was ok for us. As for location it is more or less good, you can get a tram to the centre or even walk (keep fit =D). The only BUT: wall seemes to be made by paper - soundproof sisten is absent =(

It was nice, but a little bit strange about location... But if you want to rest - may be it will be a nice choise for you.

A new recently build hostel, worth a price, I highly recommend! With a cosy kitchen!
