Just like many backpacker lodging in Chinatown Eclipse Guesthouse is setup in a traditional shophouse, a two story building in a row with functional shops on the ground floor and separate residential spaces upstairs. These shop-houses drew inspiration from Straits Chinese and European traditions. The building facade is a typical post war architecture with long glass windows that open to the main street.

Eclipse Guesthouse is conveniently located in the midst of Chinatown, 5 minute walk from Pudu bus terminal and the LRT. A walking distance from major attractions like Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, KL Bird Park and Merdeka Square.
