Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

Marina Paraiso Hotel is on Isla Mujeres, a small Island of the coast of Cancun. When you arrive at the Cancun Airport you will need to travel 20 to 30 minutes to the Puerto Juarez Ferry to Isla Mujeres. The most inexpensive way is taking an ADO bus to the bus station & then a taxi to the ferry. When you come across on the ferry a 20 minute ride, you can sit inside with air conditioning or up top, where you can enjoy the beautiful colors of the Caribbean & listen to live music. The ferries run every half hour until 9:30pm & then every hour until the last ferry at 11:30pm. If you are arriving off hours, we can always coordinate a private boat shuttle to & from Cancun with prior notice.

When you arrive on Isla Mujeres, you will find maleteros (guys on bike carts) on the pier, they will gladly help you with your bags to the taxi stand for a small tip. We recommend $10 pesos or $1 (US) per bag or $50 pesos or $5 (US) for a whole cart full. The taxi stand has posted rates, you will just let the driver now you are heading to Marina Paraiso Hotel.

When you arrive at Marina Paraiso Hotel less than a mile from the passenger ferry dock, you will be greeted at our front desk reception area. Our staff will check you in & let you get settled for your vacation.
