Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark

A very good place to stay, it is located near several tourist places and the cost per night is not high. The breakfasts are good and the staff is very friendly and kind.

Vondelpark is a nice area, right outside of the canals. Easy access to the musuems, trams are 5 min walk away. Beds a pretty comfortable.

nice hostel, well situated,good breakfast- maybe tomatoes and honey would be nice, clean room- shower curtain would be nice, guest toilets at the reception- smelly, good prices at bar and food was also nice.

Maybe the best Hostel in Ansterdam. Cleaned room, nice people, pub with happy hour, very big social room with food and drinks. A very good place to stay!!!

The hostel is really organized and clean. the staffs are very helpfull and nice. The breakfast its huge, it looks like a hotel breakfast. The bad thing is that the wifi only works at commum area. its really good located close the parks and most of attractions

Best hostel ever! Everything about it is amazing!

Everything seemed fine until last night while I was trying to sleep on the couch(sitting),I got awakened by the security head in the lobby . They told that its not allowed to sleep there. Though during the daytime a lot of people sleeping(lying) in those couches and noone says anything. That is a kind of double standard.

Everything was cool. We liked it very much. The only things are: chaeck-out time bit early, little dirty. Nevertheless, we enjooyed our accomodation a lot. Thank you!

great hostel, everythings good. At breakfast you can eat as much as you want, and good orange juice. There's also a cool bar and restaurant and you get discounts on all the museums, ect..great location..just take the number 1 tram

THERE WAS NO LOCKERS ON THE CUPBOARDS AND I HAD TO BUY ONE QUITE EXPENSIVE,

THE LIFT WASN'T WORK AND I HAD TO TAKE ALL MY STAFFS BY STAIRS,, IT WAS BAD...

bedroom is really small, but clean and quiet.

during the summer it is impossible to stay at stayokay vondelpark because it is extremelly hot and the windows dont open. only 1/4 of the window could be opened so the room was like a sauna!

dont forget to bring youre own towel since they dont offer and the towel you can buy is ridiculously small!!! almost a hand towel!

Good and cheap place to stay in Amsterdam. A bit away from the Central Station, but still ok. Rooms are clean and breakfast is just fine!

I had a good expirence in this hostel. I like to come back again. everything was Ok there, specially breakfast. The only thing shuld I say is pirce was not cheap for hostel.

Overall very good place to stay. Free breakfast. Large lounge. Only downsize is that there is no internet in the rooms and 8 people room only has 1 bathroom to share....

A nice place to stay! A bit far from Centrum, 20min walk (which is ok), but when ur in Ams u probably be renting bikes so the distance is ok but the location is great though, green and beautiful and thats a + during the summer especialy! Quiet nights and nice breakfast!

Overall a great experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hostel provided every service a traveler could possibly want including postcards, stamps and a mailbox, a full bar and cheap dinner service, easily accessible internet and discounted tickets to local attractions. The room was clean and the linens fresh. The location was central to many attractions and the free breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this hostel and stay there again.

Excellent hostal, except that our shower and toilet smells like pis (urine). Everything else is excellent and the rooms and lobby are well design and comfortable.

It's amazing that this stayokay let us feel sooo great when we sleep in a 20 people shared room, especially compared it with other cities' stayokay! The location is good for travellers to go anywhere. It's clean and the interior design will not let us feel so noisy. Breakfast statisfied us when there are many choices.

Nice accommodation for a few days; rooms hostel-like, of course, but what should you expect...? Great variety of food at breakfast, which kept us all satisfied till teatime. So: Good choice :D

The cleaning of room not all day. Good position. Atmosphere reserved but without fun. Good breakfast but miss the kitchen. help for the relation with the other guests.

Nice place to go...

Firstly, I was shocked by the fact that I had to pay for the internet even with my own computer! In all other hostels where I stayed it was for free. Secondly, the food at the bar was uneatable and too expensive. But the great advantage is the location: beautiful park close to the center!

The location was very good,easily accesible and easy to find. I think the staff could have been more helpful.I did not have problems with cleanliness but this also depended on the fact there were no messy people,in my opinion

try to get the right time for breakfast, otherwise you might have to queue for quite a while... ;)

the rooms are ok, although for me a bit overpriced, but that seems to be amsterdam...

I was a nice place, cheap, staff is nice, hostel has many services. Is just a bit far from central station but easly reachable by public transport. I'd like to back there.

Next to the fun places...

I have travelled around the europe, this was the best hostel...the breakfast was perfect and all you can eat...we made sandwiches for 2 days!!! and the linens were in packages and the rooms were big and clean for 8 person and also there are lockers for everyone and we took the free tour which was really fun...they have a really good garden with the tulips :) but the internet is not free... i would definitely definitely definitely stay again!

Very quiet, everyone respectful, right next to the Film Museum (until next year!). Very good.

Its a massive hostel. There r queues for breakfast on weekends. NO FREE INTERNET- 3euros per hour (wi-fi or their pc) They DO NOT rent towels, they sell it for 3.5 euros, when u put everything up, its kind of expensive. But really nice if u r not on a budget.

Very good breakfast, very nice staff. At the bedrooms, the floor makes some noise, and be sure to bring your own padlock. Location is very good. Considering we are at 2010, from my personal point of view and former xps, internet should be free, but it is not.

Also one(1/2 for 12 bed/room) of the showers couldn't ever supply warm water.

internet 3 euros / hora. Sem cozinha- no kitchen. No lunch at the lobby, only expensive beer. Hostel for people who are not travelers, and want to spand some money extra, but, its a safety place.
