Good Hostel, to recommend!!

Clean enough, warm and they do give line.

Good hostel. It is close to bar and red light district. It has clean rooms and showers. The wifi is not good and only available in bar and lobby.

Nice position, cleaned room, nice people and good breackfast; what else?

Maybe the best hostel where I have stayed. I just want to say thank you It was amazing spend my time there.

This hostel was very easy to get to & located right in the middle of everything! The staff was very helpful & it was super clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Sometimes it was not very clean (mainly the shared bathroom). I missed plugs in the room (to charge mobile, etc). The towels were paid, free wifi, good included breakfast (a lot of types of bread, ham, cheese, jelly's, apple, juice, etc). I would recommend bringing a lock if you plan to use the locker (free if you have a room, paid if you just want to use it). The internet doesn't work in the room. well..that's it.

an excellent hostel by all means.view on the canal by night from the room is awsome.and a generious breakfast.

Very nice hostel with a perfect ubication!

The best one yeat - even though I slept in a 16 people dorm and right next to the freakin door. Public bathroom/shower was good with shower cabins and good bathroom stalls.

a special thanks to two memeber of staff that did that extra mile for helping me,dunno names, but thanks. generally it worth it's money.

Great place! Really nice breakfast. Loved the location and the building. Lots of stairs though.

Do not tell me the price will be much higher when i change the booking!So they earn me too much money.

Great place to stay, the online directions were wrong though and it was a bit further away from the metro stop and we had to ask for directions. But the staff were so friendly and the beds comfortable.

It is clean, organized and well positioned, but lacks warmness and the typical hostel kind of brothership

Barely met anyone here, its a bad place to hang out. Sort of far from centraal station. Defiantly secure and clean.

bath room disgusting, hairs in the shower and on the floor everywhere, not even on the same floor as the room. we got another room than the one we booked (only female instead of mixed dorm) but it was nice and the people were very quiet at night so everybody could sleep. good beds,very good location directly in red light district.

breakfast was nice but nothing special, i would say it is the average breakfast you get in any hostel in amsterdam.

our room was on the last floor (5th, if i remember correctly) so it was many stairs to climb which wasnt that comfortable, and even less at night...

there was a rat in the basement...but anyway...breakfast was good, not enough computers with internet access...lockers not quite big enough...but all in all good stay in this hostel

The staff are extremely nice and helpful, except for the janitors who lock you out of the bathrooms in the morning when you want to takea shower. It is in a prime location, 1 minute walk from Rembrantsplein and 10 minutes from Leidesplein where all the parties are happening. The sheets are clean, but bring shower shoes. There are quiet hours but you may have a hard time sleeping as people trickle in as late as 5 am from the bars, and wake up at 6 am; and few people respect quiet hours. Very safe environment, and lockers are provided.

the room was clean and the staff were so kind. They explained amsterdam very well and were willing to help me to find other accomodation(bcoz stayokay was already full up. when I go next travel , would stay at stayokay again~!!

It's well located and clean

beds clean, floor in the bed room dusty, WC/shower disgusting (mouldy,most of the toilets without toilet paper over days), staff very very helpful

Nice hostel, but a bit expensive. No fun inside the hostel, but since it is very well located, between red light district and pubs square, you can find fun easily. Safe and secure, and you don't bother or get bothered by the others while sleeping, because the room is just for sleeping, the (very big) lockers are outside.

Cleanliness was excellent and the staff were helpful however the place lacks any character and if you are looking for somewhere more than just to sleep at night I wouldn't recommend it.

very nice clean hostel, near the center of amsterdam and the astel area. warm and welcoming staff, all the utilisites that you need are accesible and clean.

The only problem is the cleanliness in the bathrooms, it smells and it is not well cleaned.

We paid for 2 beds and one of them was taken by a stranger during our entire stay, not ok.

Nowhere to relax other than the entrance. Short brekfast time.

Nice place, great position, but not so clean. They haven't a kitchen where you can cook.

location was superb ... 5 mins from red light district & 10 mins walk from central station. Everything went good except i chose 11am as my arrival time online but never got a room until 2pm & we were travelling from the night before so needed as much sleep for sensation black the event we went 2 that night & hardly got any. besides that showers/toilets/rooms were really big & quite clean aswell! would stay there again anyways :)
