Description

Train Lodge Amsterdam is a quirky hostel in Amsterdam.

Train carriages, part of the Zürich – Rome night train, have not been turned into comfortable Amsterdam hostel room, a unique hostel on wheels with the original features and fittings.

The Train Lodge has a total of 132 beds, in 44 compartments. Each compartment has 3 stacked beds. You can easily climb to your bed using the specially designed ladder. If you prefer more privacy for you and your fellow traveler(s), you can also reserve the entire compartment. By combining 2 compartments we can create a bigger compartment with 6 beds perfect for families.

Guests can relax in a reception/bistro train car beautifully painted by El Kenor and have a drink or a snack.

This hostel is located next to the Sloterdijk Station, within convenient distance to several shops, markets, museums, bars, terraces and a small supermarket nearby.

Instead of hotel rooms you sleep in the original compartments, a real train experience!

 

 

Terms and conditions

Group Bookings and cancellations:
Train Lodge is a perfect place to book groups. All bookings larger than 9 persons are considered group bookings. Bookings for more than 9 people that are not confirmed by us with email risk being cancelled without notification (see cancellation policy above). Cancellation procedures for group bookings deviate from standard bookings as follows: 4 weeks prior to arrival date and only per email to Your reservation is canceled after you have received our confirmation email. In case of cancellation group booking after 4 weeks prior to arrival of in case of a “no show” no refund is possible.
