Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

From Cebu International Airport (CEB) a 3 to 4 hour car/bus/van journey is required to reach the north tip of Cebu Island at a place called Maya where the passenger ferries will transport you to the island of Malapascua after a 45 minute boat crossing.
We can help to arrange comfortable travel from anywhere in Cebu or the surrounding islands in Air Conditioned minibus vans or cars. Just contact us for more information.

From Cebu City north bus terminal take a bus (P185) or a faster and more comfortable GT express (P200) to the port of Maya at the north tip of Cebu Island (buses / GT run at least every hours 24 hours). At the port of Maya take the public boat (7 am to 4 pm) to Malapascua (P100 each) There may be a smaller transfer boat at low tide for P20 each.
Arriving in Malapascua you will find yourself on one of two beaches Bario Beach (on the west of the island with a concrete pier) or Bounty Beach (on the south of the island lined with resorts). Ask any tour guide or local the way to Purple Snapper, it's either 5 minutes from Bounty Beach or 10 minutes walk from Bario Beach. Malapascua is full of very friendly people eager to help you find us but we can also meet you on the beach if you require.
