Description

The hostel is housed in an old elementary school, which has been completely renovated but has retained its original features and restored features typical Madeiran construction with box roofs and wooden beams.
The decor is modern in a sophisticated / casual style, offering a comfortable and high quality stay.

There are private rooms and dorms (female and mixed) for eight people, with access to large and modern bathrooms. These dorms have bunk beds designed to provide maximum comfort with built-in closets, individual reading lights and electrical outlets.

The Santa Maria Hostel has a large common living room with comfortable sofas, armchairs and TV.
Upstairs, a mezzanine with puffs and reading area will allow you to relax or use the free Wi-Fi internet access, which is also available throughout the building. In addition, you can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with dining area where guests can cook and eat their meals.

You can also enjoy a meal or drink in the restaurant or bar on the ground floor.

Near "Santa Maria", there are many points of interest, where you can walk, such as the beach complex, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Electricity, The Farmers' Market and Avenida do Mar And you can count on many restaurants and bars within walking distance to discover local flavors and enjoy the nightlife!
