Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

The Red Line of the Lisbon Metro now runs directly from the airport to Saldanha, which is a two minute walk from our place. The metro takes about 30 minutes and each passenger will need to buy a reusable metro pass (which costs 50 cents). A metro pass is needed to both enter and exit the stations and each ride will cost €1.45.

Taxis are inexpensive in Lisbon so, if you decide to make your own way to the apartment, taking a taxi from the airport to our place should cost about 9 euros, including the charge for your luggage. If you would like to take a taxi when you arrive, we strongly suggest that you take the taxis from the DEPARTURES area (NOT arrivals!) since these taxi drivers won't try to cheat you and there isn't a long line to wait in.
