Description

Portugal as a long tradition with the Ocean. We are a people of sailors that always use the Ocean as a link to reach other cultures,lands and races. West Coast Hostel holds that connection that defines us as Portuguese,an hospitable nation intimately linked with the Sea.
Build in the year of 1946 on the Portuguese costline at Praia da Areia Branca, the house is a typically boutique lodge full of history and tradition.
Its location and architecture, preserved whenever needed renovations, makes her an unique jewel.
From the terrace we can see a few miles of the Atlantic shore and the sea conditions. A Portuguese pavement courtyard surrounded by greenary, trees and flowers make´s a beautiful garden and the perfect place for party´s, concert´s, Bbq´s or animated talks where the sharing of cultural differences enriches the experience of the guests.
Lounge chairs, hammocks and large-umbrellas set the perfect ambiance for an after surfing relax. The rooms, shared and individual, are sunny and larged and the house equipped with all the essentials that you may need for a confortable holidays.
There are a games room with pool table and several other games, fire-place, a living room with cable tv, LCD, world library and wireless internet through all the house.
In the courtyard we find the yoga studio, an exterior bathroom just for showers and a in-house surf school where you can rent surf gear.
The bus station, supermarket, the bakery and some restaurants are a few steps from the hostel.
