The LOVE Movement

Description

The LOVE Movement is located in the town of Esperanza on Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. A Puerto Rican style concrete home where the east entrance is a 3'6' metal gate or a 5'5' metal west gate. A wall with canario flowers blooming through the columns obscures direct view into the front door. The front entrance is a sliding glass door with window film placed on various panes. There are three bedrooms on the main level (2 are available), a 3/4 bath, dining room and kitchen. The bathroom, kitchen and dining room spam the south side of the house. The wood deck is located south of this area. Access to the second level studio is limited to studio reservations and is adjacent to the deck. The carport, outside the bedroom windows leads to an outdoor shower and wood deck-I have one neighbor who rarely comes round back-that is quiet and green. Lush fruiting trees abound beyond the wood deck, e.g. starfruit, avocado, key lime, papaya, banana, plantain, guava.
The El Mar room has a full size futon, open armoire and chair. There is a fan, no AC. The 2nd room, El Sol, has AC, is on the northeast corner of the house and looks out onto the front balcony where there is a hammock, rocking chair and glider swing to lounge in. The bed is double size, there is a standing closet to store clothes and a desk and chair. Of the four windows, two can be opened for fresh air. All rooms open into the main living area. The 3rd space is the Magnolia Retreat, it has a queen size bed, AC, a private bathroom, dining table, microwave, coffeemaker and a small refrigerator or cooler. Bed linens and bath towels are provided, not beach towels. Internet is available for an additional fee, until technical problems are resolved-at that time (Oct, 2013) access will be included in the price. If you arrive early, you can leave your bags securely at the establishment.
