Getting Here.
By Rail.
We are just a few minutes walk from the train station, which is on the main railway line between Perth & Inverness, offering good connections from Glasgow, Edinburgh & all points south.
By Bus.
Citylink Coach services from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Inverness also stop in Kingussie - connections from the South are frequent.
By Air.
By air, if you're planning to hire a car, you can fly to Inverness, Glasgow or Edinburgh and be in Kingussie in a couple of hours.
By Cycle.
The Sustrans Route 7 passes right by our front door.
By Car.
From Inverness, Aberdeen & the North.
Heading down the A9 from the North, you take the turning marked Kingussie & Newtonmore. On entering Kingussie itself, you’ll find us on the right hand side of the road after about 500 metres.
From Perth & the South.
Route 1.
Head north up the A9 and take the first turning signposted for Newtonmore. Follow this road through Newtonmore & on to Kingussie, 3 miles north. Go straight through the traffic lights in the Town Centre & you will find us 200 metres further along on the left hand side.
Route 2.
Ignoring the Newtonmore turning, carry on up the A9 for a further 6 miles and take the turning sognposted for Kingussie. On entering Kingussie itself, you’ll find us on the right hand side of the road after about 500 metres.
From Fort William & the South West.
Drive up the A86 until you reach Newtonmore, turning left onto the main street opposite The Glen Hotel. Follow this road through Newtonmore & on to Kingussie, 3 miles north. Go straight through the traffic lights in the Town Centre & you will find us 200 metres further along on the left hand side.
