Green Studio

Two very cramped rooms upstairs with ceilings so low that they cut the legs off the lower bunks so the lower bunk mattresses are almost on the floor. One air conditioner for those 2 rooms located directly over a bunk. One mini bathroom for the 2 upper rooms (for 8 people) and not a mirror anywhere to comb your hair after a shower or for guys to shave with! A LOT of noise coming from the lobby directly below until late at night. Too many groups of dirty looking single men hanging around the main door of the hostel. Yikes! One of the worst hostels I've stayed in during many years of travel! Bunks in the basement that I did not see. Cheap.

I had a great stay. The Crew is awesome and be sure I will be back :) lets party Belgrade!

Terrible hostel. One of my worst experiences. The pub crawls are terrible because are not what they sell u. There are always weird people in the lobby , even mafia guys molested me and i think everybody was implied. NEVER GO THERE

The place was a shithouse - We could't find the office for reception - the sign on the door was completely wrong. The place was filthy, bathrooms had not been cleaned in ages,clothes left lying around, the kitchen was disgusting, sheets had holes, the front door key was ill fitting - we had to leave. It was the worst experience we have ever had in a hostel/pension any .wehere and we have travelled a lot

It sucks!

You pay for what you get in this hostel, the beds are okay, the hygiene is not so good, it's fair to say that the main man oversells it a bit. But if you need a cheap place to stay, and have some beers with nice people, this is the place for sure. Biggest problem was at around 19:00 every night, it would stink of sewer in the apartment. Don't really know why. And a pro-tip to the "chef", if you want to cook chili people would want to eat, cook it in a clean pot with a lid on, in a seperate room.

People in general are pleasant, helpful. The atmosphere at the Hostel Bar is good. Regarding the accomodation side, i have some comments to say: cleaning in the toilets is bad, mattresses are bad, sheets were dirty and unfortunately there was no eletricity during one morning(occasionally). The best was only the location....

i really enjoyed cozy atmospher and stuff was very friendly

very nice hostel with pretty cool stuff. We We wanted to be there just for one night, but in the end we decided for two nights, because as well as whole Belgrade, this place is magical and awesome

Dirty and noisy. Will never come back neither recommend it.

The hostel has a lounge where you can easily chill with a big group and eat all together! Nice staff!

moldy rooms, uncosy and cold rooms, public space is uncomfortable, strange staff - check out something else! ...the "garden" is a ugly and small place made of concrete.

we are 2 guys doing an interrail trip, we found this hostel AMAZING! great atmosphere, we spend every evening at least 2 hours in the hostel lounge. Free rakjia, young and nice staff, music 24h in the lounge (100m from the rooms so no noise and botherings while sleeping). The room's floor is cute, free tea and free Turkish coffee; you should just go there!!

Great hostel, very friendly & helpful staff. Central location a few minutes from bus/train station.

An ideal hostel for backpackers. Well situated and chance to get to know people.

The hostel is located in two separate buildings. The dorm above the Green Studio Lounge is very filthy and noisy. The other dorms are in a good condition.

Great fun, great people, bizarre city. Make sure you visit the lounge it really is worth the effort because everyone wants to make friends.

Very good hostel, but with the amount of business it gets, they could clean it more often. Besides, it is a bit old and might need a renovation.

Staff were super friendly, offering us tips and even cooking us traditional Serbia meals for an optional dinner.

Only negative a lot of steps to hostel - lift available but small and slow. Also beds in triple share had broken slates that would fall out mid sleep!

Loved the location in Belgrade and the staff were extremely helpful, including even taking us around the city and cooking us a traditional Serbian dish in the hostel.

The hostel is really nice overall. Good location and it has charm. The only 3 negatives I can come up with are these:

1. It is on the 5th floor

2. Some of the extra beds are falling apart, but it is only the extra beds :)

3. The room that was made for 4 people has no air conditioning and in summer time, we could not sleep there. There are 2 fans, but they do not help. It gets incredibly hot.

The other rooms are good, we had 3 in total as we were a big group. The private room is really good, and all other have ac.

Again, overall, good hostel, nice staff, safe, I can definatelly recommend it :)

Green studio is a brilliant place to stay. Definitely the place in Belgrade, to meet other travelers.

I had a great time at the Green Studio hostel. Free Rakia at the hostel bar, amazing staff, really friendly and helpful. The elevator was broken and it's on the 6th floor, so...

Great Hostel for small money. We were in a big private room with 4 beds. Great heating, since we were there at winter time.

best hostel ever visited!!

To get from there to the centre of the city takes you 10 mins, to the boats - 10 as well, train and bus stations are close, which is also nice.

The hostel itself is situated on the 6th floor, the building has no elevator - but you get used to it simply.

Inside it's clean enough and comfortable, not smoked, conditioned. Lots of free space.

People in the hostel were soo great, loved them all. Partying all the time, and ready to help - becoming your friends at first sight.

We definetely enjoyed.

Was a very nice place to stay at! Helpful staff, just accross the street from the bus station, with a river view :))
