Hotel Medno is located in natural green surroundings sheltered by a forest and near the river Sava at Medno, which is considered as the suburbs of Ljubljana. It is approximately 9km towards north from the center of Slovenia's capital. Directly running by Hotel Medno is the regional road that leads to Kranj and from there on to Austria and Italy. It is only 15kms from the international airport Jože Pucnik. Despite the immediate vicinity of urban centers, Hotel Medno offers a splendid view over the rolling hills and High Mountain crests of the Julian Alps and Karavanken Mountains.
