Directions from the Airport:
Take the N2 freeway towards Cape Town. Take exit 8 for Liesbeek Park Rd towards Salt River. Turn left at the first traffic light (Station Rd) and then right at the next stoplight (Lower Main Rd).
Observatory Backpackers is 350m down on the left.
