The Birches Backpacker Lodge is a backpackers hostel offering comfortable accommodation located in Northcliff, Johannesburg. Beautiful serene tea garden with the characteristic Birch trees and fountains. Lots of quiet nooks and vibey communal kitchen and relaxation areas, this small Hostel easily allows you to find what you want.

The Birches Backpacker Lodge offers six rooms as a mixture of doubles, twins and dorms. Mostly with shared bathroom facilities. Each room has fans, linen and towels. There is free Wifi in all rooms and Netflix. Some rooms have a flat screen TV.

At Birches a continental breakfast is included with freshly baked items. Free fast Wifi and Netflix. Fully equipped communal kitchen with spices, sauces and oils free to use. A cosy lounge with Netflix and communal computer. Pool table free to use. Bicycles free to use. Golf equipment free to use. Beautiful deck with view and tea garden are also communal. Outdoor pool with waterfall and bluetooth wifi relaxation area. Barbecues organised on the weekend.

Shops are within 600m, and major shopping centers are easy to reach with cheap buses. Close is the botanical gardens for runs and walks, as well as a small golf course within walking distance.
