Its okay !

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very kindly. I liked the athomsphere in this smaller hostel.

Hostel staff needs improvement. For example, there a guidelines and meeting points in random cafés is a little odd, and not accommodating for people abroad who do not necessarily have access to cell phones to call and meet up. It's sketchy and very informal. On the plus side, rooms are clean, well decorated, beware of noise and slamming doors.

The hostel was in a great spot but the furniture and bedding was very cheap - meaning that the walls were paper thin and limited utensils. The staff weren't very helpful and we felt like we were paying too much for shabby accomodation.. There was no reception or general lobby area, the general state of our room was unacceptable. I would recommend another place even if it is more expensive as you will be much more comfortable anywhere else!

clean and nice. kind of an anonym hostel. but good to stay there for sightseeing and stuff because its very close to almost everything.

2nd time in several years.. very friendly proprietor that speaks good English and very helpful.. properties slightly off Plaza Catalunya.. convenient to downtown Barcelona

Super location, accommodating staff and well needed quiet time from the hustle and bustle of some hostels. By no means a party place, in fact the opposite. Thanks

In general it was ok. Good value for mony. Only remarks: we booked a double room, instead we got twoo single beds put together which is not the same. Also wifi was not working. We notified the staff but no effort was done to fix it..

very good location, at the heart of the city. helpfull and friendly staff but no rezervation desk so you may not find somebody at the hostel when you need. it's quite and clean but room was small and a little bit hot but we had all we expect from this kind of accomodation.

was really the best locatin to stay. quiet but only 20 meters away from la rambla.

Nice place, clean, quiet, nice staff, good location but the rooms adn bath rooms are quite small. Also, important point, there is not AC system so even with fans in the rooms we struggled to sleep.

Perfect the position. Clean and good hostel. The staff was very nice.

- They have the change the towels they are too old, and even if cleaned still small weird.

- Booked twice got the same room when i was alone as when we were 2. Found that a bit illogical. Room was Small.

-Elevetor was not working at 6:00 am of our last day

- Excellent Location (very hard to match) and Overall very good value.

Really nice place, calm and clean also very close to city center. A little noisy in the night if You will get room from street side but in overall very positive

The location of the hostel is just perfect, 1 minute to La Ramblas, 5 mins to Plaça de Catalunya, up to 15 mins to the seaside. The Staff is very kind and helpful, the hostel's conditions are very good - always clean and calm, kitchen facilities available. I recommend it with all my heart! :)

It is quiet and well located, but difficult to communicate with the charge person only on the phone, spend little on site

It was a really nice room, but we had noisy neighbors, so the last night we couldn't sleep because they made a lot f noise.

And someone took some of our food that we left in the frigo.

The staff was really nice and kind and the room was clean.

The twin room we stayed in was a bit on the small side but it was clean and comfortable (got cleaned again halfway through our stay - new bedding and towels etc). No problems with the shared bathroom having queues or anything like that and there's a communal kitchen which we didn't really use but has everything you'd need to make your own meals. The apartment itself is in a really good location just off plaza catalunya/ramblas so everywhere was really easy to get to and there's a wide range of restaurants and bars just outside (bit noisy at times though but we didn't mind, just be careful when coming back at night as there may be shady looking people hanging around). Only negative would be lack of aircon in the room, it got a bit stuffy but other than that everything was great, would definitely recommend. Also recommend bar castel and muccis pizza for good cheap food just down the road, there's a cute bakery as well but can't remember the name!

Everything was absolutely up to the mark aside from the fact that one bathroom for so many people is simply not enough.

I spend 3 nights with you in Brcelona. And after 3 hours in bed I decided to sleep again back home. I asked if it was noisy. How can one sleep in a broomcloset without being able to open a window without the terrible smells of the downstairs restaurant kitchen or the noise of the elavator just outside the window??? I feel completly ripped off!!! The bathroom shower is broken and dirty.

Very nice place. Great localization two steps from the main street La Rambla, clean and very nice furnished and decorated. Only drawback are many prohibitions - no parties, no visitors, no using washing mashine no alkohol etc. No reception desk and even if you take a room with bathroom it is separated but it was no problem because it was just opposite the room.

A very good hostel, clean and quiet with a good equipment (kitchen...) and an absolutely ideal location.

Just two smallish reproaches: our room was a bit dark (window covered with plants, not enough powerfull electric light) and cold (the window didn't seal and as we went on January...).

NB: I don't know how to estimate the "Fun factor" so my "100 points" are rather irrelevant...

Located in a very city center of Barcelona, next to la Rabla, RamCat has everything you need. clean bathromm, linen, towels, cosy and well equiped rooms and fully equiped kitchen. Friendly staff is helpful to give you advice on sightseeing and on everything you need. We visited Barcelona in January and were a bit afraid about the temperature in the rooms, but they are equiped with electric heaters you can use whenever needed.

It's very near to the main street and it's realy a nice and clean place,but the only thing is it's too cold in the room and there is just one small warm condition.

A good place to stay to visit Barcellona. Very well placed, near Plaza Catalunya and the ramblas (really 300 meters!). The rooms where minimal but clean, the common area well organized. If you look for total comfort is not for you, but otherwise a really cheap and good accomodation.

Ram Cat is a great hostel: it is in a perfect position in the city centre, directly on the Ramblas. It is relatively cheap. The rooms are really nice and well furnished and decorated, big and clean. People is really friendly. Further, every apartment in the hostel has an equipped kitchen. Awesome!

We spent a weekend in this hostel in October 2011 and we were very pleased with our stay! A lot of space in our room, a well-equiped kitchen to prepare and store food, and a computer situated in the kitchen area with internet connection (usable from 10am to 10pm.) The cheep prise, very peaceful (partying and inviting guests not allowed), the location right close to Rambla and the cousy and clean rooms will make us come again, when we visit Barcelona. The only minus was that out window didn't get fully closed. Because of that it was chilly to sleep in the first night (we got blankets from the friendly staff for the following nights) and a tight window would have blocked more of the noises coming from outside. But it is a tiny problem to get solved. We recommend Apartamento Ramcat to everybody!

If you are looking for somewhere to just sleep and you are planning to get tired in the daytime, Ramcat is the place for you. Absolutely quiet and very very clean. The staff is nice and the positioun could not be any better. Very close to airport transport and placa catalunya, it is practically on the la rambla. We loved it even though there was not a private bath option and the credit card machine was not working.

Actually, it is a very nice place in down town...and when i said down town i mean it!! If i back here in Barcelona, i'll be stay in the same hotel,that's for sure!!!

Lovely place with great staff, and superb location - some rooms might be noisy from the street, though. But one can´t get any closer to La Rambla.

Very cosy hostel with friendly staff in the heart of Bacelona! It´s like living in your own little home! There were only one bathroom and shower but it was perfectly enough! All the common areas were cleaned every day. + It´s cheap!

Very happy with this hostel! Could recommend it to everyone. Close to the ramblas, no nonsense but nicely decorated hostel.

Totally enjoyed my stay at Ramcat. The place was clean, modern, well-equipped and most importantly, just slightly off La Rambla! Awesome location. The only complaint I have is that sharing one bathroom (toilet, shower and sink all in one) with so many other guests may not be the best idea. There was always a queue in the mornings. I suggest to pay a bit more and get your own private bathroom if you were to stay here. But otherwise great hostel!

Ramcat is the best place to stay in Barcelona. I can recommend it to anybody, we had a beautiful time there in February.

The position of the place is great for shopping, however it is far walking distant from the beaches, but its nice and quiet and close to restaurants.

It is very clean place, in the very centre of the town, 5 steps from La Rambla or Catalunya Placa. Highly recommends :)
