Blue Hostal

was recommended by friends and have recommended others..a friendly ,comfortable hostel in a great location. My only small gripe was how difficult it was to contact reception!

I could recommend this hostel because of the low price in relation to the location and the cleaning standards- there is one big disadvantage though: imagine someone "checking on you" in the middle of the night, coming into your room, turning on the light- a "night visit" of a male crew member to female guests... I didn't feel like a guest there, rather like an intruder. You like being unexpectedly controlled? No privacy? Then you'll like there very much! Recommended for lonely people with a passion for "a midnight thrill"...

Great hostel! Really enjoyed my stay there! The staff is very nice! Great location! Kitchen and common room with pc, .. Everything you need! Would really go back there!

Unfortunately I must say, that hostel BLUE is a total mistake. Theoretically (from my experience) it doesn't exist. It is all based just on few rooms in tenement house. There's no information about it and how to get to it on the street and the building. After a long time of searching, I finally got to some next-door hostel. There, its owner told me that my reservation cannot be finalised, becouse the owner of Blue is sick and absent. Instead of our fully fitted four-person room which we saw and booked in the Internet, he offered us two two-person rooms with just a bare bads inside, which were normally more expensive than ours. All I could do in such a situation was to resign, what caused that I spent that night on the airport. SO IF YOU LOOK FOR SOME SURE ACCOMODATION WITH NICE CONDITIONS - DON'T CHOOSE BLUE HOSTEL. DESCRIPTION IN THE INTERNET IS NOT RELIABLE.

The Blue Hostell can in many ways be considerd as very good. Clean and nice rooms (except one smaller room without window!). It is very well located near the port and Ramblas (about 500m). The Hostell-manager is very enthusiastic and helpful with good advise and tips!!!

there is no windows in the room. but very good position to visit Barça

doesn t feel like livin in a hostel at all more like beeing at home. really the best hostel i have ever been to.

Nice and clean please in beautiful old building.Position is ideal for walking through Gotik part of Barcelona. Metro station is near. I recommend this hostel to everybody

beautiful old stylish house/appartment with kitchen and two shared bathrooms.Cosy neighbourhood, everything near. A small sleeping room with noisy windows (on court), but other rooms were more silent and with fresh air.

excellent location,friendly service,useful information,room small but clean, full featured kitchen, tea and coffe inclusive, dining and living room,free wifi, You receive keys and yuo feeling at home.Thomas in recption very friendly and excellent speak English.

Very comfy and cheap. The only disadvantage: we stayed on the fourth floor and there's no elevator. For the rest: we were satisfied.

A very nice location, near almost every important location. Good staff, very nice person in contact.Rooms are thin-walled, so can be noisy, also from the streets, so get your earplugs with you. But nice in every other way! recommended!

I don't care about all this rating as my stay in this hostel /thanks God just for 1 night/ was horrible. No lift till the fifth floor /and terrible with the luggage/. The reservation in advance wasn't kept. Extremely cold during the night as the heating in my room wasn't working & it was minus outside. No administrator in the late evening to tell about this problem or change the room. No breakfast. Just the worst place I've ever visited /and I travel a lot/.

Perfectos! We had a really nice stay. Free internet en lots of good tips of where tot go and eat and stuff. A hallstand in the room would've been nice,but that's just a detail. Bit noisy. Overall we we're superhappy!

We really enjoyed our stax in Blue, staff is excellent, location is just perfect. Good value for good price.

Hostel is great located, its architecture is gorgeous, nice furnitured and the staff was simply great and very helpful. Thank them we discover also non touristic traps with inexpressible atmosphere. I highly recommend Hostel Blue! :)

Nice place, it's like you're in your home, relax and conìmfortable bed

This is a great hostel for people who want to get to know the real Barcelona. Besides all the well-known tourist-spots, the host provides you with great hints on where to go, where to eat and what to see. We had an absolutely amazing stay. M&S

Verry nice place, good rooms, good service,verry nice building.The only thing was that there was no sing that told us where the hostel was, so we had to look hard for it. There were also a LOT of stairs, but we didn't mind that after relaxing in the room.

The hostel is very well located. The beach and also the city with all the shopping areas are easily accessable by foot.

we came back every night after midnight.the location is perfect. I didnot expect that the buidling was such a fantastic architecture.

the hostel is in nice locating. Luis was great and tried the best to provide help. the room of three was a bit small, but still you get the max for the value you pay. I highly recommend it.

Great location near the port and centre but not too close to be too noisy, lots of reasonably priced bars/places to eat nearby. Very friendly and personal vibe in the hostel, kitchen was well equipped with tea, coffee, condiments..felt very homely. Walls were very thin but overall great value!

I really like this hostel! I stayed there twice: fisrt time in a doublebed room, and second time in a twin beds room. Both stay are great. The doublebed room is very spacious and the bed is really good. The twin bed room is smaller, but you will find not just beds but some space. The location is excellent. It is near both the port and la ramblas (less than 5 mins walk!)The staff are excellent too. They are so helpful and friendly. And last, i really like that 2 piece of chocolate I found on the bed when I first entered the rooms:)

good, very clean, close to center, friendly staff. no windows though, little strange. wasn't spending a lot time in hostel since it's in Barca.
