Hip Karma Hostel

Great location. Quite, clean hostel.

The hostel was cleaned daily. But the bathroom got dirty very quickly and it was quite unpleasant to use it.

The rest was very good, very nice and helpful staff and the rooms were good and clean.

Good position. The hostel is very clean and safe.

Outstandingly clean comparing to other hostels, situated in the very center. Curtains on the beds ensure some privacy.

Nice hostel to stay for a few nights. In the very city center, close to Placa Catalunya.

Hostel Hip Karma was such a nice background to my Barcelona visit! Exactly what I would have wished from a hostel for a not so young single traveller: quite nights, good facilities (kitchen use, internet acces, space for my stuff in the room, bed quality, cleanliness) with good location). I was happy to choose it, and stay here again in Barcelona.

i haven't been in so many hostels but this one was the best for me.

The hostal is new and very nice. It is presented as a non-alcoholic, but in reality nobody cares, so there were some people drunk and making noise during our stay. They clean in the morning, so in the evening the showers are not superclean. Also, bed linen and towels are not provided if you don!t pay for it. The location is excellent and everything is new and nice. Can recommend it.

It was a nice place to rest and just to read your book! when we don't count the long distance between beach and the hotel,everything was alright.There were no such fun in the hostel,but well just for to rest it is quiet nice and clean.And also free internet every minute ;) Thanks for everthing Hip Karma!

Nice, professional, good! Would recommend. The only bad thing - no breakfast, but you can buy something in a supermarket and put in the fridge.

It´s a very good hostel. You get your money's worth. Even if you sleep in the biggest dorms with 12 people, you don't really notice them, (unless you want to), and every bed has curtains so you can sleep in a dark when the light is on in the room.

Also the fact that you don't have to have a key, but just get buzzed in every time is a nice feature.

Very comfortable, clean and original in its oriental and minimal style. A nice surprise hidden in a traditional central flat.

Lovely clean hostel, the beds are so cute with little curtains you can pull around them. Marcello was so lovely and would always help you if you needed it. The internet was free and nearly always accessible. The kitcehn was lareg and v clean. lovely hostel

Hip Karma hostel was very clean and the staff spoke English, which I found very helpful. The night staff where very friendly, they where young and knew of some of the cool night spots to go too. I will come back again. The other backpackers who stayed here where great. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Its a very nice place to state...Its ubication is the best...near by the beach and the catalunya platz....Viva México para todos!

The hostel is absolutely amazing, it is like a palace, absolutely beautiful,spacious and clean all the time.

Free internet access made trying to find the sites a lot easier and keeping in contact with home a whole lot cheaper as well!

The position is really good to get to all the main sights and the staff are more then happy to point you in the right direction or tell you which bus to get.

I would recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to see the sights and relax on beach in day and go to bars and clubs at night as it is in an excellent location.

I loved it here and am very sad to be leaving!

I really enjoyed my stay there, Marcelo is so kind and the atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Positive vibes everywhere! I still miss Barça and the Hip Karma hostel, hope I'll see you soon!

This hostel was great for its price and its location was decent too! It was new and clean and the kitchen was great for use!

I absolutely could not believe how peaceful and brand-new this place was when I arrived! I was skeptical at first, but I was extremely satisfied with the quality of very nice staffs and this place including perfect kitchen; especially for the price! They say that they are looking to win long-term customers... Well, they've got one here!

This was the cleanest and most pleasant hostel I have ever stayed at. Tastefully decorated, quiet, very clean and in a charming location. Not the place to choose if you want a big hostel with a common room// aka good chances to meet new people. but if you want calm, cleanliness and privacy, this is the perfect place.

Really clean and nice place to stay. Just 10 minutes by foot to the Rambla. Full of positive karma ;-)

It was beautiful and clean hostel. Location was great, but it was difficult to find it, because there are no signs. I didn't like some rules: Can't use kitchen after 10 pm, can't use internet after 10 pm, can't use showers after 10 pm. Most of the staff was very friendly, especially I liked Oliver :) They were accommodative and always helped us when we had questions. Hostel is clean and kitchen is comfortable with all the things you might need. The beds with curtains were superb! In conclusion it was a nice place :)

It was the first experience in a hostal for us ( we were 3) but it was a wonderful one!!! clean and confortable place to stay,great position (in a few minutes walking you can reach placa Catalunya) nice staff!! we enjoyed a lot our holiday in barcelona also meeing new friends in here! if we have a place to suggest in Barca HIP Karma Yoth hostal with no doubt! HIP KARMA is a great hostel, situated in a very convenient place in Barcelona. It's 5-10 min. walk to Arc de Triof and a Central Bus station. There is a supermarket and metro in few steps. The staff is very helpful, so do not hesitate to ask them for help. Rooms are very tidy and clean, so we were surprised a lot. Definitely would come back! -LTU-

Best hostel i ever stayed in!!!

It was very clean and the rooms were real nice. The kitchen can be used for cooking and there are all the tools to do that in the kitchen. The only thing is that you do need to keep quiet and there are times as to when you can shower and when you can be in the hostal. I would recommend this place. It was great!
